Narrows River Park

A beautiful and excellently maintained park, only minutes from downtown Omaha or Council Bluffs. Though it requires a park pass, it's totally worth it (and it can be used at other great parks like Hitchcock). We've spent many wonderful hours here with our family; at the large picnic shelter (which you can reserve), watching the river flow, the boats pass by, and the airplanes take off and land right across the river at Eppley. I have many great memories of our trips here with my daughter enjoying the pristine playground. It will always hold a special place in my heart. Thank you Pottawatomie County Conservation.

Really enjoyed this park I have used it for a few gatherings and it has been really well kept everytime.

Great little gem of a park! Clean picnic areas clean bathrooms with soap and water and toilet paper. Just off of the bike trail, nice place to picnic!

Very beautiful and impressive area by the river. Awesome scenery.

MO River Relief was stationed here May 18-21, 2023. Was impressed with the cleanliness of the place, and with the interest in planting native plants on the premises.

Love this park! It's right off the river, secluded and never over crowded. It's fun to watch the planes take of and land and if your lucky, a small plane will take of and do some tricks.

This is a hidden gem of a park. It is tucked away behind the northside Walmart in Council Bluffs. Hardly anyone goes there, it is really clean, perfect place to get some sun, fresh air, be near the water, and be right under the planes as they fly over you landing at Omaha Airport.

Although it cost $2 you can get a year pass if you find the Ranger we like to park cuz it's nice and quiet and you can watch the planes come in for a landing and launch the the boat easily the ranger comes around a lot that's good for security

We visit here often. Love the view of the river. Very well kept. Miss the big chair that was there before the flood

Best place to see a sunset and rise on the river.plus the planes take off right over your head from the other side of the river.will be back one-day for sure.

Great place to access the river. 3 bucks for a day pass, worth it. Close to the house, clean park.

This park is always clean including the bathrooms. The park rangers are also very friendly. It's just a beautiful park plain and simple!

Nice and clean plus there's a Park ranger on duty everyday to keep it safe... I just wish there's a basketball court to bring more activities and enjoyments...

Been going to this park since I was a little girl. The park is always clean well maintained. DNR is so very nice.

It was great I caught me in 5 lb catfish 23 in Long the blue cat on top of it goodnight within 5 minutes of getting there

Look at that "cool" river! There's a lot of deer in this spot too. There might even be a bobcat too. Iowa has 'me.

Nice quite park next to the lake. A good place to relax.
