Venom PC

Outstanding service from beginning to end. A friend of mine and I built a custom gaming PC with all the bells and whistles and it worked flawless until a problem developed with Windows constantly muting my mic while gaming, I spent weeks adjusting, reloading drivers, reinstalling Windows and nothing worked. I was to the point of throwing in the towel on it. Both Microsoft and Asus techs tried to fix it and they couldn't figure it out, both wanting to blame each others programming for the issue and because I built it myself, no computer repair shop here locally wanted to mess with it. Then I found Mike and crew at Venom PC, I didn't know we had a custom gaming PC shop here in town, told them my problem. They are very sympathetic to my situation as I had spent almost 5 grand on this build. The problem persisted for them as well but that didn't deter Mike at all from finding and solving the problem which turned out to be a glitch in Windows 10 Pro while running Discord was behind the whole thing lol (and Microsoft said it couldn't be their program) He spent a few days on it plus installed and and adjusted some items that didn't make it into the build at the time and the repair costs were minimal. I will be forever grateful to the team at Venom PC and their patience and they have now earned a customer for life, thanks again Mike and crew, my baby is still running perfect. See ya next build. I spoke and worked with Mike to fix my Acer Spin 3. I described my issues over the phone and he gave me some cost estimates and thoughts about what kind of work he might have to do. I love my laptop but it’s charging port is terrible and had almost broken loose. I took my computer in and got it back in fantastic condition. They fixed the charging port completely and tightened up some nuts and bolts so my computer was in way better condition than when I left it. Weird other small problems I had disappeared when I got my laptop back from Venom PC. I’m so happy to have my computer working again! They got it back to great condition in just a couple of days. Excellent customer service, wonderful work, and as a bonus it was fixed speedily. THANK YOU GUYS!!!!!!!!

Customer service: fantastic. Mike was the guy I spoke to and worked with and he was awesome. Very honest and upfront about every single detail.

Product/Service: long story short I’m not from Des Moines and didn’t know of any places to get a PC around here so I ordered one online from a main stream manufacturer. Took them 4 weeks to get it to me, when it arrived it didn’t work. I sent them the parts back that they thought were the issue and they sent back new ones. Still didn’t work. Brought it in to Mike and he had it all fixed and working the same day only a few hours later. Guy knows what he’s doing and he’s very quick but thorough with his work.

He also mentioned that he could’ve got me the same top tier build for a LOT cheaper than what I bought it for.

Overall, Venmo PC is the place to go. Great customer service, impeccable products and builds, and affordable. 11/10 Mike. You’re a life saver

I loved the help that Mike did for me!! I recently got a new gaming PC and I wanted some help finding out what ram would be compatible with my specs due to higher quality gaming and I called Mike and asked him for some help and he was super thorough with his instructions and he was also super nice and respectful as well. If I would have something new or any issues with my ox I’d go straight to him again!!!

Had my first custom PC built. Super quiet and very fast. Mike was able to give me the specs I wanted and keep it under the budget of what I provided and still had better specs than another local PC outfit in town. Mike ended up knowing the brother of one of my good friends. Was great to work with. Would recommend and do business with them again!

Great service for an exceptional price! I had a hard drive crash and Mike was able to pull my data which was 4TB worth off of it and put it into a new one. He was awesome to work with, very knowledgeable and I will hands down be back for all of my IT needs!!

Never thought I’d leave a Google review, but Venom PC changed my mind. I called a few other places in town and requested basic quote info over the phone. None of them were helpful. I had a pretty good idea about what needed to be fixed on my computer device that was damaged during a recent move. Basically, the other two places that I called said, “drop it off, $65-$80 diagnostic fee, we will get back to you in a week or so.”

Mike at Venom was very nice over the phone and mentioned that what I was describing did seem minor, but he would need to take a look at it in person to get a better idea. Mike said there would be no charge for the initial review. I brought the item in and was told they would call me in 24 hours. Sure enough, 15 hours later he left a very professional message on my phone and said the cheapest way for me to have the item fixed would be if I ordered the part myself and brought it in (he did offer to order it for me – but said if I was cool with doing it myself, he’d just send me a link to the website where I can order the part).

I ordered the part, dropped it off and my device was fixed within 1.5 days.
Listen folks, I called the other places in town. They are not as professional as Venom. These guys are trustworthy and I highly recommend them. I was prepared to spend three times the amount they charged me. They earned a lifetime customer.

Mike built me a kick @$$ Mining rig, am planning on having him build and design at least 6 more for me this year. I have found my go too guy for sure with this.

Was having issues getting a gaming computer built from a different company (2 weeks and no parts even in yet) so I cancelled my order and went to Venom. I ordered the same components as previous , Mike got me a better processor and Viseo card for only 40$ more, Great Deal! In one week he had recieved my parts and had the system built! The computer runs and looks great, they hid all the cables and the machine runs and looks great. I would highly recommend getting a computer built here if you're looking to build, great service 5 stars!

Venom PC changed my life and taught me how to love again. Seriously though, my wife and I walked into the store with a budget in mind for a custom PC, pretty sure that we weren’t going to be able to afford much of a quality machine. Mike and Mike went above and beyond the call of duty and piece together a fantastic custom computer that was well within our budget and far more powerful than we were expecting! This thing boots up in like two seconds and runs fast and smooth! I highly recommend them for custom work, and they’ve been working on my old desktops for years too. I won’t go anywhere else. Skip the geek squad and come to Venom PC!

I have had my Macs in four times in the last two years with different problems each time. Each time the problem was fixed promptly and at a very reasonable price. These guys are great! I will definitely continue using Venom PC and highly recommend them!

I took my desktop in due to some start up issues. Venom PC figured out the issue in a timely manner without needing to buy parts, they didn't even charge me for time figuring out the problem! Venom PC is very reliable and trustworthy. Highly recommend

Did a great job for a reasonable price and super quick turn around time. Brought my folks laptop in on a Friday. Quickly diagnosed and completed a screen replacement by Monday. I would definitely recommend Mike at Venom PC for your computer needs.

I've taken three different PCs to VenomPC and each and every time was affordable and less than a 24 hour turnaround.
The last time I went was with a new PC that I had built correctly but had a bad HDMI and thought was faulty because I had no display. Once he was able to boot it up in-store, he let me know there were no problems and didn't even charge for the troubleshoot. Genuinely awesome local shop.

I worked for Geek Squad for 4 years while I was in college so normally I do all of my own work. Because of that, I'm glad that places like Venom PC are still open because when I needed help with a very specific issue/part this is the only place that was able to help and I was able to get what I needed that day. He was quick to respond to my question online and I was able to drive over and pick up the part that I needed. Big Box stores are great for replacing items that are covered under previously purchased warranties, but if you want to get something fixed, and done quickly, I strongly recommend going to these smaller shops like Venom PC.

Fantastic work!! Venom PC replaced a keyboard in my custom build Lenovo ThinkPad laptop. Of course I was worried about being able to repair it since it was a custom build. However Venom took the time to track down one of the few keyboards in the US and installed it with great quality work, short turnaround, and very reasonable pricing!! It's nice to know that we have a high quality PC repair shop nearby, highly recommended!!

Took a while, but got a great pc for what I paid for. I was paying for quality and it's definitely what I needed, I shouldn't have waited for so long to get it completed but these guys did a great job of keeping me in the loop and letting me know of any trouble spots during g the assembly

Mike with Venom PC was great. Was having a hard time installing ram into my son's computer. Mike had it installed, viruses cleaned out and my son was up and running again the next day. After extracting as much serviceable life out of a 14-year old computer as I possibly could and putting off getting a new one multiple times over the years, the lure of X-Plane 11 and its ultra realism and graphic beauty finally motivated me to make the move... After doing a substantial amount of research and talking to a lot of people, I came to the conclusion I did not want an out-of-the-box system -- I wanted a system truly customized my needs. I'm... uh... not what you'd call 'technologically sophisticated' by any means, so building one myself... well... that was completely out of the question. Instead, I knew I needed to find someone, somewhere, to build it for me -- and that's where Venom PC came into the picture. Everyone I asked recommended them. Everyone! To say the design process was a breeze would be an understatement. They knew all the right questions to ask, and based on my responses, made a number of suggestions intended to give me the system I desired and more. And in less than 20 minutes, we had my specs finalized. Less than a week later, my system was built and awaiting me and my new flying adventures... Now that I've had the system up and running for a week or so, I will tell you it's a dream come true... It's amazingly powerful and light years beyond what I had before [it... uh... also looks pretty sweet, too!] -- and I'm genuinely pleased and excited about it. Oh -- and something else? I really like the idea I was able to buy something locally [their storefront is less than 2 miles from my home] instead of a big box store or someone over the Internet. The staff was genuinely helpful, gracious and accommodating of all my questions. They delivered on all of their promises -- no small thing these days, in my view.

They did exactly what they said they were going to do and in the time frame they promised. The purchase process was painless [and actually a lot of fun]. The price I paid was very reasonable for what I received, very competitive and represented an outstanding value. The staff is experienced, highly-skilled and well-versed in the art of customer service. Best of all? My new system performs exactly as they said it would.

My experience with Venom PC was everything I hoped it would be -- and more. As a result, I don't hesitate in recommending them to anyone seeking a new, customized-to-me-and-my needs PC.
