Savanna Marina Cafe

We had an awesome time at the Muddy water cafe! I enjoyed an amazing breakfast while my wife enjoyed a delicious chicken Alfredo lunch. The service was excellent and the prices were reasonable.

To clarify a couple business points first -
- NEW BUSINESS: Muddy Water’s Cafe/Marina.
- On Facebook by same name.
- Open M-Sat from 7 am - 2 pm. Like/Follow them o FB for periodic Fri & Sat late afternoon - evening hours as well. Closed Sundays.
I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve ordered @ Muddy Waters - whether specials or on the menu and the price is right.
Include great staff & the setting of the Savanna Marina that feeds into the Mississippi River & backwaters…AND…is at the Trailhead of the Great River Bike Trail - you can’t beat it.
Although I only uploaded a pic of one of their periodic specials - Al Pastor (pork) tacos, you can check their FB feed & FB reviews for pics of other menu items!
And for customers w/ children, the restaurant also offers kids menu items.

Cozy hometown feel. Staff was great and food was fresh.

This is one of those places that don't look like much, but it hides a hidden gem. The food is wonderful!! My sister and I got there just as they were finishing cutting up a new batch of fries. I ordered cheese fries and a burger and both were cooked perfectly. I will definitely make it one of my stops the next time I'm in town.

Felt right at home! The lovely proprietors of the Cafe reminded me of my own parents and briskly directed me to the cooler to retrieve my own canned soda. The mushrooms and Swiss burger with bacon added for a tiddy $5.28 total was easily the best burger south of the Savanah BNSF railway! The ambiance and entertainment we experienced here will never be forgotten and we look for returning for more delicious self served can soda and a phenomenal burger! In all seriousness the burger was fantastic and we will return again when in the area. We took our burgers to go and sat on a picnic table close by and enjoyed a lovely meal.

We ordered 5 bacon cheese burgers . And they were EXCELLENT. The prices were VERY reasonable. I would definitely recommend this place and go here again.

Great food and service. Family friendly. It is operated by Chris Engaldo of Bald Guy's Bistro in Mt.Carroll. It is convenient to lots of businesses. Check it out.

Had the Smokehouse Burger with homemade french fries. Food was very good. Would definately recomend it.
