Sometimes I wonder if people have a brain between their ears.

If you are sent a check with an address, and the check is fake, why would you think the address is correct for the scam?

Furthermore what makes you think that writing a review for a large embroidery shop that has nothing to do with scam checks would make your logic lucid.

Finally, the business has an A+ listing with the BBB and they have been in business for over 30 years.

I know the owner personally and scamming people for $50 is beneath him.

I’ve been working here for 7 months. They aren’t too bad. Long hours, most of the time in meetings, or on the phone. Decent benefits though, great pay, 2 weeks vacation after a year of work. Even pranks still tend eventually, irrationally negate each other. Paternity leave for women!

My fiance and I were trying to sell a spare grill we have on craigslist. He received an email right away from a random person who said I'll give you $50 more than to take ad off and I'll send you a cashier's check. Once you received the check take it to your bank to clear it then I'll send my movers over to collect it.
We received the check for 3500 and was like this is bonkers. I called the actual credit union and they said yeah that's not ours and contact your local police department.
Funny thing is that the maker is an actual restaurant in Texas where the check was drawn from.
It looks like a paycheck that was typewritten cashier's check on it with a typewriter.

same experience, they responded to a craigslist post offered 50$ over asking and said they'd include moving fee but I had to pay the movers...seemed like a scam, they sent a check for 2,700 and I was like no way am I putting that money into my account. I am contacting our local police department to investigate further.

Nice try, but I know better. I'm not cashing any check that I don't know where it came from. Even if I do need the money. If you get a check in the mail, and it seems to good to be true, then it usually is. Don't cash it. If it wasn't for Google I would had been in trouble.

Yep, they tried to get me too. I know better. If the store is an actual company then I feel bad for them because their address is being used to to send out these fake checks. Maybe they are in on it, maybe they aren't. I don't live there anyways so it doesn't matter to me.

recieved a fraudulent check in mail for a potential advertising job for dunkin donuts from this address. hope the cops come down on them for nearly putting my bank account at risk and committing fraud!

Received a check from $3700.00 called bank it is fradulent. If you receive a check don't cash it.. they will drain your bank account

BE CAREFUL they are a FRAUD company they sent FRAUD Checks.
I received a check by 4950 by a client who supposed bought a piece of art when i deposited the check it was belonged to a close bank account.

Address is being used to send scam checks do not cash!!!!!!!! Got a check from a dead woman in New Jersey her account has been closed at the bank the check is thru for over 2 years. Please please do not cash. My mom almost got screwed do your research!

FRAUD. Look out for fraudulent checks. Sold an expensive rug on Craiglist and they sent a check for 4X the amount of the rug, wanted me to give extra cash to "movers". Shredded the check, cancelled sale.

put on craigslist a table for 100 buck and got a check a check for 2000 bucks comes in the mail. be careful, they are SCAMMERS.

We know this is a scam I will be reporting all corasponses to the FBI and the BBB so say because reall jobs like this could really help out ppl but you will get what you give karma is her name. Dont fall for this I almost did.

This place is being used as the address to send fake checks from. They may not be the culprit, but be wary of any check sent from there.
