McDonald's throughout South Dakota and Nebraska could learn a LOT from Osceola, IA! The food was actually HOT and included 2 kinds of jelly plus salt, pepper, 2x butter and syrup. The BEST McDonald's I have been to in many years! They seemed to be short on help, but they got the job done RIGHT and to top it all off... the price was FAIR!

Their sweet tea is like I’m make it home set mines better but it’s close

Must ask for fries to be made to order if you want them hot n fresh. Some employees on the line making sandwiches were arguing/disagreeing with the managers presenting the orders: making the atmosphere edgy and tense. You get what you get 🤷🏼‍♀

Perfect experience and fast. I want thank the Manger for giving me a gift car for a refund of the meail the got mixed up. Service was much better thanks 😊 🙏

The service was fast and friendly. The food was just like i ordered and it was hot and fresh. The entire establishment was spotless clean and very nice. A great dining experience!

I don't know his name but the guy working the front register is a very good employee.
McDonald's Corp. and management: If you're reading this you need to make sure they hold on to this guy. We visited the location in (Osceola, Iowa on 5/2/23 from 11:45-12:30). I heard him say he is 25 years old and he has a black ponytail.
I worked in fast food for years. I was Asst. General Manager of one restaurant and at another I was Asst. Manager, so I know what to look for. This guy did everything right! Numerous times he exhibited going the extra mile when no one (i.e. manager or supervisor) was looking.
This employee deserves to be noticed. Other qualities he exhibited were:
•Greeting and thanks customers.
•Worked with a smile.
•Was patient and very polite.
•Worked helpful and worked well with his fellow co-workers.
•Knowledgeable of the menu.
•Attentive
•A natural go-getter.
•Pleasant
•Relatable
•Friendly
•Seemed genuinely happy to be at work.
... among others.
I normally don't leave such a detailed review but I decided to today because this employee went above and beyond every fast food employee I have ever seen.
McDonald's Corp. and management:
If you are looking for a potential employee who is a "difference maker" and demonstrates a potential for longevity within your company, then look no further.
This guy is exactly that.

I have been here a few times when I needed something quick to eat and this seemed like the closest place to grab food. In the five times I have been here, I have always got exceptional service by the young kids that work here. I don't know who the manager is here but to have such consistency is amazing! Ive always been treated very kindly here. Food was awesome across all levels. Fries were hot with just perfect amt of salt. Sandwiches were great tasting. Such a great experience!

The staff here is BY FAR the nicest McDs crew we've encountered in a while, if ever! They were all friendly and smiling, genuinely seemed happy (as someone at work can be)! We would definitely recommend this location!

Food was good. My one complaint is not with McDonald's or employees it was with customers. We witnessed someone berate a worker because things were not "fast" enough. Right now I am thankful for the ones that show up and work. Most places operate on a skeleton crew. They desperately need help. No one is willing to work. Not when they can be paid to stay home. That's why I am impressed by the efficiency, cleanliness, friendliness of those working. Great job y'all!!

It was super super busy the staff was friendly and did a great job

My food was delicious. The store was clean and modern. My cashier seemed new and we were paying with cash. She did get our order perfect. As we were eating her casual conversation with co-workers was loud and included swear words. Flinch. I'm sure she will learn professionalism as she progresses. Good meal! Manager brought it to us and gave great eye contact and I noticed he was patient, alert and kind with his employees. He seemed very professional. He even answered questions about the changes in this and other stores to a fella asking. I noticed an employee coming in or back from break and making sure his black uniform was orderly and tidy.

Food was hot and fresh, quick service as we were stopping for a quick bite on our way way back home as the small town we live outside of is very limited on fast food options.

I had the best sausage biscuit I've ever had at the Osceola Iowa Mc D's

Fast service. Hot food and a special treat of great table service from Ms.Sherry! Wonderful Mcdonalds. Quick with our food. We ordered from the new kiosk and of course I needed help, someone was right over to patiently and kindly show me....how to basically self check out. Lol with my 2 and 4 year old wanting happy meals immediately this was a giant help! Thank you ladies!

Food was hot and fixed the way we ordered. Staff was pleasant.

It was a very nice experience, after a drive downthe interstate, the lady that took my order in the drive up, I actually had a special request for big Mac sauce on a cheese burger, (which is very good, "you should try it ")she was extremely nice and knowledgeable in my request,wish all my trips to Macdonalds was as pleasurable,
Oh AND DID I SAY HOW GOOD THE FOOD !!!

When you're on the road and its time for lunch; Mc Donalds is the place to stop!! Don't forget the Shamrock Shake!!

This place was really busy but this employee went through for all the people there and got their order correctly she was very nice and kind this will be my first and last time here though cause I don't live anywhere near here so thank you all employees that did the best for all your customers (:.

Ordered the bacon ,egg and cheese biscuit meal with orange juice. Great as always! Got through the drive thru quickly and the employees were very friendly and smiling.
