George Fotiadis M.D.

I saw Dr. "Fo" for the second time yesterday. He's the most understanding and compassionate Dr. I've seen since I was a child. He spends the time with his patients THEY need and looks at the whole patient, not just the symptom or his specific role in treatment. I never want to see another Doc. but him! Honesty, compassion and integrity; like doctors used to be!

I was a bit nervous bringing my son to a new Physician. Dr. Fotiadis was very kind and took the time necessary to best understand our needs. Everyone at UnityPoint Health were super nice and welcoming. I am so glad we have such great care here in Iowa!

One star because he's getting to old. He doesn't read about the patient before he enters the room. My husband had a really bad stroke, he luckily survived, partially caused by untreated high BP. DR F is his doctor. Put him on meds. They didn't work. Upped them, they didn't work, ok maybe it's time to add or try something different. He didn't. My husband gave up. Thought that's just how it was now. Then he had a stroke. When he got out he had a follow up with Dr F. Who didn't read the paperwork at all. Thought he had a seizure. Didn't give him any of the recommended therapy, and didn't even fill out his fmla paperwork right. My husband wanted physical therapy and couldn't get his insurance to pat for it without his doctor ordering it. Not a good doctor. Dollar signs is all he wants. He needs gone.
