Wonderful park!
Clean, well planned layout. Bathhouse is clean and well lit. Primitive sites are secluded and close to the water and the bathhouse. Electric sites all have great lake views. Beach is small but nice sand.THE BEACH IS JUST REBUILT, NEW RETAINING Wall, sun deck. The grass has not re grown yet. They also have recently done other major long term projects. 8/10/20 storm derecho did minimal damage . Picnic area is beautiful mature growth trees overlooking the lake. Saw otters sorry the pictures are not great

Very clean and well maintained park and campground. Recently renovated beach area with a retaining wall, clean sand with a beach that is just big enough for the lake. All campsites appear to have a great view around the lake. No derecho damage, beach was nice and quiet.

Has a lot of scum in the water but still a really nice park. Fishing for largemouth is great. Use a top water frog to keep out of the weeds!

This park is always clean and very well maintained. We haven't had luck fishing but still enjoy going. We walked some of the nature trail tonight and it was nice. Looking forward to bringing the camper out

Went out to spend time with my kids.
It was peaceful, quiet & even tho it was still 80° out, where my kids were set up next to the timber was at least 10° to 15° cooler.
Very pretty out there.
They have showers, a pop machine & a beach area leading to the water, a gazebo, a boat dock, a playset for Kids, also has a Pavilion for gathering.

We camped here for 8 days and had an absolute blast. The kids went everywhere around the park and didn't have to worry about anything. I was a little irritated when we needed ice one day and the host wasn't there. The host wasn't there for the last 5 days of our trip.

Great camp host with local knowledge of stores for camp goods, plus better firewood/ bag of ice rates than other locations nearby.

Plenty of camping spots, over a large tiered area so even when there are a lot of people, it still doesnt feel crowded, and still gives privacy to the campsites.

Better nightly rates than most places i've seen as well...

Fishing, swimming (ok the swimming area has a bit of algae) even a little teepee with books.

Highly suggest going here for a weekend at least

My family and I went camping and had a blast! Their is a lot to do and the park ranger Scott was friendly. I would recommend anyone wanting to go fishing, swimming and kayaking. It was kid friendly with a playground and basketball court.

We had a nice night stay using the primitive campsites. They were kept clean and well maintained. Included was a picnic table and fire pit.

Benton County needs to install new park signs from the east and west that the storm blew away and damaged so people know which road to turn on to get to the park!
