Great food and attentive service, nice experience. Clean and well maintained.

Easy parking. The Friday buffet was delicious. Light,crisp batter on fish, cod, I think, and multi item salad bar. Bottomless coffee. Calm atmosphere.

The salad bar has a huge selection of homemade salads! Then grab a cup or bowl of their homemade soup.
This combo for only $9.50 is a huge deal. My favorite is the potato and cole slaw.
Today I had the chicken noodle soup. To die for!
Good food, service by Hailey and great prices.
Thank you Johnson family for keeping on your mothers tradition and I hope people read this and stop in for a bite.

On our way home from a trip to Gays Mills when looking for a place to eat lunch. We stumbled upon Johnson's Restaurants. The food was absolutely delicious 😋

I arrived at 1:15 in the afternoon and ate from the buffet. A wide variety of delicious salads and crisp vegetables. Fried chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy and steamed vegetables. Staff was extremely friendly, engaging, and accommodating. Enjoyed everyone's company. A great place to eat and socialize.

Great, down-home cooking for an affordable meal while we were passing through on the road. Quick, friendly service. The salad bar is huge and well stocked -- definitely make good use of it!

We were there midday. The service was great. There was a full menu, soup and salad bar. You could get a 🍸 with your dinner. Would definitely go back.

Ordered a chef salad to go at lunchtime. They were very busy but the wonderful waitress got my salad together and ready for me in under 5 minutes. It was delicious. Price was great too!

We had their Saturday chicken snd shrimp buffet. It was super, loved the salad bar too! Our waitress was such a sweetheart and very attentive to our needs, we were thankful to have this dining experience in the great town of Elkader, our favorite get-away place!

I met my Mom and sister at Johnson's. We chose this restaurant because they are doing a Friday night fish buffet. They have a delicious soup and salad bar. The hot table included fried fish, baked fish, fried chicken and mashed potatoes and gravy with dinner rolls. They also have full menus if you want something else. The staff wears masks, social distancing of tables and customers, hand sanitizer stations by both the salad and hot bar, sanitizing of tables and chairs between customers; they are taking every precaution. They are operating under reduced hours so please check to make sure you don't miss an opportunity to dine at this fantastic place!!!

We attended a Fundraising Banquet here! The food was delicious! Always lots to choose from. They even have a wide variety of drinks available. I like the Bud Light Seltzers and they had them. Mixed drinks could be served in a bigger glass for the cost of them. 2 drinks make 1 at other businesses. The space is abundant, the staff pleasant, and restrooms clean. A good evening out.

Very accommodating for our Chit Chat club. Delicious food and great service. Enjoyed the atmosphere even with social distance. Did not feel rushed. Waitress catered to our needs in a friendly manner.

First time I was ever there, but it won't be the last. A delicious home cooked buffet and a friendly staff. Prices are reasonable, and make sure you have a malt or shake on your way out. I had a caramel malt that's as good or better than any I've had in my life!
