Town & Country Cafe

I visited the cafe on Sunday and had a wonderful experience! I just moved to Madrid in August of this year so finding this restaurant was a blessing. Food was amazing, staff were kind and welcoming, and overall the experience left me in a positive mood. I will definitely be a returning, if not regular, customer!

Went here this morning for the biscuits and gravy, for which i was craving for lol. It hit the spot that's for sure. Even though it's under new ownership, I couldn't tell the difference like some places when it changes ownership. Prices are reasonable for what I saw on the menu. Wasn't over priced for what you get. I thought I got a pretty good portion for what I ordered.

I cannot say enough about this place. Some of the best coffee, food, coffee and company. I added photos from lunch special the other day.

We stopped for breakfast here recently on a bike trip in Iowa. This was the perfect little small town diner. Don't expect fancy, but you will get great food for a more than reasonable price.

Important - Get the sausage patties for breakfast. Homemade and excellent! Just want I would expect in small town Iowa.

Love eating breakfast here. Food and Service are great. Have to get there early to get a good seat on the weekend. Also made a mental note to self that they are closed on Mondays.

Best breakfast I've ever had! I usually don't like hash browns, but theirs were from another planet! So good! We stormed the cafe with about 20 guys and they whipped out the food in no time, I was amazed! Can't wait to bring my wife here!

Best breakfast/lunch spot around by a long shot! Large portions, and great tasting! If you are in the area make sure and stop by for some great food!

My family came into town from down south and I took them to eat at the Town And Country Cafe. They were so impressed. The food was hot it was plentiful it was a good price and the people running the restaurant are the best. I would suggest anybody in Madrid the surrounding area or even pop up from Des Moines for the best food you can get for your buck.

This is the ultimate small town diner. Their breakfast, specials and regular menu always hits the spot! Staff is super friendly and kind!

Great place for breakfast. My wife and I stop anytime we are near Madrid. Food is great and everyone is so friendly and can’t do enough for you.

I love this place. Great comfort food and their breakfast is epic (all of it)
Only downfall is it’s hours.
If it was open 24/7 I wouldn’t buy groceries.
