Adair City Park

Great spot to camp right off 80. They have electric, water, shower, bathroom, dumping station and a great playground. Did I mention super friendly town folks. We were sitting out and a car came by and said “welcome to Adair Iowa. Loved that!

Nice quiet little city park. Was able to overnight here on a cross country trip. Just left cash in a self check-in at bathhouse. Showers available. Electric hookups. Day drive east of Denver and one day drive from Ohio making this a convenient place to stop. We stopped on our way to Colorado and on the way back home.

Famous Jesse James and his gang pulled off the first bank robbery of the west. Old city park has monuments and time capsules near the old bridge over the railroad track

Fun little park! My kids loved the zip line and merry go round the best.

As a child, my family stopped here every summer on our drive out west to see family, and now I do it with my own kids. Camping used to be free in those days, but now it's just $6. Plus, you can also shower! They have a merry go round ( the same one I played on as a kid) that my own kids love.

Only made it to the little kid playground, but there is separate big kid playground, bathrooms, fields, etc. A lot a RVs/trailers parked.

Thanks Adair for a very happy surprise. Cute little park. 30 amp and household electric at sights. Yard hydrant at bathhouse as well as dump station. Bathhouse very clean. $15 for the night and $2 per shower. Water hot. Honor system. Pay at bathhouse.

Very nice shady park! Areas of play include a playground geared toward toddlers and another geared towards school aged children. It even includes a zipline!zip line! We go there all the time.

The area is so clean. Watched children playing on nice equipment while I ate at a clean picnic table. Well equipped restroom facilities with showers and camping available

Quiet park, 50 amp service, water and dump station for $15/night... Close to Zipp's Pizza, Dollar General and an ice cream shop, can't beat it.
