Ashbacker Building did the roof on our old farm house in Giard, IA. We worked with Larry, who helped us pick out the right color of steel. He made sure he answered all of our questions. We would recommend them very highly.

Great place to buy your lumber needs

We have had so many issues with Badger and Aschbachers dealing with them. We have multiple doors with paint on glass, chipped paint, and two dooors aren’t even correct. We asked to have them corrected and nothing happenes. Our living room garage door is not what we ordered, cost more than 10k. Multiple screens with holes and so many little issues. All they want is their money and not correct the issues. Plus you will never get and update accurate bill. Just late fees.

This has been a nightmare of transactions with this company. The contracted laborers failed to complete our steel roof properly, which now we get bats in our roof. We called to get this remedied, only to get told Larry called his contracted workers...never got fixed and now this is our problem. The windows we went with through them are falling apart at less than 9 years. When we call to get this remedied, we have to call in to the company and take care of it. We will have to pay for all labor and this still has not been resolved. We are told this is all better dealt with by me, not once has he stood behind the products he sells. DEFINITELY never recommend this lumber company.

I contacted them about having them come over to my house and take a look at my roof to give me an estimate he said he’ll have a crew go look so I waited 2 weeks before I called to see what was going on all he said was I’ll call my crew and I’ll call you so I waited a week no call so I called Monday and still nothing… I live right in town so it’s not like it’s hours away
