My experiences here have been very good. The staff in every department were very helpful. Peter is amazing. Kevin is a great sheriff and helps people in need. Everyone is polite and helps with your situation. Nice law library too.

Obviously we are all in the court because of the choices we've made in our lives. Life changes, people change, and so do each of our situations.
I have had a few bad outcomes or I should say, "it didn't go the way I wanted it to".... however I learned from it, took it much more seriously and prevailed.
We can't blame the court for us ending up here, they have nothing to do with it. We need to hold ourselves accountable for whatever circumstance caused us to end up in court. I found if I was calm, realistic, and thought about what was really most important, they worked with me and I understood its a process.
Overall the people at the court were down to earth, friendly and were truthfully there to help me.

Shockingly sub-standard. Very alarming to see the low calibre of judges who have neither any knowledge of the law or any interest in applying it. Everything is personal and depends on the judge’s moods or who his /her lawyer buddy is, which is not how it should be at all.
Staff are rude and if you are Pro Se , their favorite cringey thing to say is that ‘ they are not allowed to give legal advice. They will endlessly spout this even when you are not remotely asking for advice.
Even a third world country like India has a much higher standard of judiciary.
The only hope for U S citizens is if AI takes over the legal system ,like in China and these nasty old fools will be out of jobs.Very sad state of affairs.

Worst place ever if you are a male fighting for your children, you will lose every single time don’t bother trying at this courthouse find a different town or move to a different town and use their court system to try to see your kids. If you come here, they will screw you every single time! If you come to this courthouse, you will lose your children. I’ve seen it happen so many times over and over. It’s happening to myself now and it’s happening to one of my best friends. This is the worst court system in Connecticut to fight to try to see your kids.

I had my daughter go into the court house with a docket number. I needed information on a loan modification. The gentleman behind the counter was very nice and told her that he couldn't give her the information because she wasn't listed on the docket. The only reason I didn't go myself is I am fighting cancer. He told her bring her father with her and they will give the information to him . So on Tuesday Jan. 5 2021, at 1:30pm the very next day, my daughter went in again with her father who is on the docket . The woman behind the counter had quite the attitude and was extremely rude. This lady has no business working with the public. How can the guy the day before say bring one of your parents and I will give you a copy of the paperwork, to a totally different attitude saying because there are other peoples names on it I can't have a copy. I needed this for a dispute I am having with my bank. I have absolutely no proof now. Thank you.

I went to file divorce papers. The clerk that was training 2 others apparently needs to be trained herself. The return dates weren't filled in although she did look at a calendar and I heard her say it out loud. I should of signed papers right there and I wasn't asked to. One trainee wasn't even paying attention. Get it together clerks

Some personnel are great, like peter! Gotta be 1 star simply because this is less an institution and more like a hate group against fathers. Acts outside the bill of rights with no oversight or compliance to laws and precidents of the nation. If this place burned down, it would be a victory for liberty.
