The Corning Hotel

We had to attend a local funeral in Corning and we are from Colorado. 10 years ago there wasn't a good place to stay locally, so we were pleasantly surprised to hear a motel had opened up. The front desk person, RaNae was wonderful. She let us know they have a bereavement discount which we were appreciative of. Knew where the service was going to be held and made sure we knew how to get there. The rooms are fantastic and they have a great attention to small details. I wish they had this motel in every town we have stayed in .

The hotel is very clean and nice! The staff is friendly and helpful, lots of parking, the hotel is very easy to find. Breakfast is a wide array of cold items but still delicious, the waffles are a must!

Very clean room, staff is friendly and extra helpful, beds and pillows are comfortable, great pirices. I feel it's like a home away from home, like visiting family (just the ones you like 😁), the way the staff is trained and the way they treat you I was convinced they were there for a very long time but they're been open just 3 years. If you are around Corning Iowa I recommend you to stay with them, I have family in Lenox and always stay in this hotel, I highly recommend the Corning Hotel!!!

I have stayed at this motel several times over the past few years. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is good and the eating area is clean and spacious. Beds are comfortable and the shower actually has hot water. I like the soap, shampoo and conditioner dispenser in the shower too. I don’t have to mess with those irritating little bottles.

Staff is incredibly helpful. Rooms are comfortable and clean. We needed a cot for our grandchild and they had it ready for us. Very accessible location.

Very clean. Bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was great and items were fresh and appealing. The AC was great, I sleep so much better in a cold room. The staff were professional and very friendly. I will definitely stay there when I’m down to Corning next time.

Love the two room suite. Great for three adults. Stay there every time we visit family in Corning. Great location, just off the highway. We will be back.

One of the cleanest, most quiet hotels we've ever encountered. The staff is so friendly and attentive. The affordable rooms are great - very comfortable beds, awesome pillows, and the bathrooms are super clean. The free breakfast is amazing - waffles, fruit, muffins, yogurt, coffee, juice, etc. The interior design and artwork in the hotel are beautiful. There are refrigerators and microwaves in the room, so leftovers from Primrose Restaurant or Breadeaux pizzeria can be enjoyed the next day. Close to Lake Icaria for recreation. The Corning American Theatre is a fun place to catch a movie. The Corning Hotel makes this town a great place to visit.

The staff was very friendly and the hotel was well kept and clean. The hotel itself has a welcoming atmosphere and they have a breakfast they call continental, but they had more than that… waffle iron, hard boiled eggs, etc…

I will be staying there again for sure!! Highly recommend!!

As a trucker, I stay at many motels during my travels. This must be one of the best! Traveled out of my way to stay here due to the raving reviews and will again in the future. I would suggest everyone do so if close or in the area. Well worth it.

The best hotel I have ever stayed in. Beautifully decorated-loved the colors! The room was very clean and all the amenities needed were included in the room(fridge, microwave, coffee pot)! Excellent service and breakfast choices!

A true gem in a charming community. Not your standard roadside hotel: lots of unique, decorative touches, creating a warm, friendly atmosphere that makes one feel right at home. Close to top-notch restaurants, shops and outdoor recreation.

We stayed 5 nights while visiting family in Corning. We came from Chewelah, Washington. Re Nae, Heather, and their whole team were wonderful! Very nice. Great help with our reservations, accommodated several members of our family. The hotel is beautiful!! We utilized the breakfast room, to gather for visiting, as well as play a few games. The rooms are fabulous, very clean. The breakfast was good as well! We will be back!

This Hotel is fantastic!!!! There were no other hotels in the area and when my husband called Sarah was super helpful and got us 2 rooms in under 5 mins! This place is gorgeous, totally taking some of the decorating and applying it in my own home!! Memory foam beds were the best hotel beds I have ever slept on!! I will for sure stay here again!

New super clean facility. Solid high speed internet, no issues with zoom meetings pushing photos and screen share. They have a computer and printer available. Quality beds and Linens. Entire staff is beyond nice.

Would highly recommend; probably the best hotel in the area and located right along Highway 34. Rooms were nice and clean and the hotel staff were friendly and welcoming. And while you are there, please go to the little bakery in uptown Corning - they had some of the best donuts our family has ever had.

In fact, this is the best kept secret in Iowa. It's easy to find on Highway 34. The accommodations are wonderful. The morning breakfast settings are just out of this world. It's another fantastic home away from home.
