Awesome place. My engine light had just gone on after I had recently moved to the area, and brought it to Tim.

He ran the codes and told me the battery to my key fob was causing issues. I changed the battery and sure enough, my engine light went back off later that day.

He didn't even charge me! Will definitely be coming back here for any car maintenance I may need in the future. 5/5

Tim is honest, friendly, and knows his stuff. He is upfront and explains everything before doing any work. I would trust him with any vehicle. He does a great job and fixes it right the first time. I would definitely recommend him to anyone and everyone.

Brought my truck in to Tim for a transmission swap and he did it in a great amount of time and for a good price. The truck runs great, honestly better than when I bought it originally. He also checked out an extra problem and took care of it same day. Couldn't ask for a better experience.

Thorough evaluation of a "problematic" German import vehicle, followed by a no-nonsense breakdown of the order of precedence of work to be done, and work done right the first time. It's hard to ask for more; Tim's the real deal when it comes to shop owners, and his staff is top-notch. They've secured my business for the foreseeable future.

It will help you to have arrangements in place to secure alternative transportation, on the outside chance that your vehicle's problem is far more serious than you suspect. I add this only because Tim is thorough not only in evaluation but repair: If a complex and labor-intensive problem is found to be resolved, trust that the time will be taken to ensure that every component is properly handled, every bolt tightened to spec, everything cleaned on their way "out." This, naturally, may take longer than other shops with less attention to detail - shops which may see you returning for amendments to your repairs.

Repairs shouldn't need fixing. Call Post Road Auto and be confident that you and your car are receiving the best of service from the moment you speak to Tim. You absolutely will not regret it.

Honest. Reliable. Reasonable turn around time. Best choice for a mechanic I have ever made. I refer my family and friends and encourage them to save their time looking elsewhere.

Solid guy, does honest work, but isn’t afraid to tell you if you’re wasting his time and I respect that - if you need good work done at a fair price come here.

Tim was nice, and prompt, but the cost of the repair was $400 dollars over the quote. He neglected to inform me of the cost of the 4 parts he purchased until I was confronted by the bill.

Literally refused to work on my car unless he ripped me off. Tim the owner said he charges 85 dollars an hour for work, told me changing my parts would take up to 3hours(it’s a torque rod and rear end job would take less than an hour with air) but that he wouldn’t look at my car unless I was willing to pay 500+, so I realized he wanted 500 dollars to do a 3 hour job(exaggerated).... the owner told me he wouldn’t work on my car unless he got to overcharge me? Literally the worst business I’ve ever been to.... think before you pay your mechanic, do the math on work hours and hourly, and don’t let tim at post road auto steal from you....

The guy was very rude to me on the phone.
I called to see I they added wiring to my car to add a dash camera
He told me a place
I said he won't do it unless I buy (an expensive camera from them)
I asked if he knew any other place
Then he rudely said, I just told you
