This place is great! I felt like I when back in time 40 year to my favorite neighborhood market! They have a bit of everything. The staff is incredibly. The meats where of the best quality and the staff knowable. Prices where reasonable given the quality. No fillets or dyes found here. The deli was fantastic. The grinders where huge made right in front of you. It’s my new place to shop.

My husband and I have been meaning to see what Salem Prime Cuts is all about FOREVER. Everyone we know loves it there and we're only about 20 minutes away. This New Year's Eve our plan is to make duck for the first time, so we finally made a trip out. What an awesome place! We found our ducks no problem and now I'm adding goose to our list of must tries in the future. The bacon on the breakfast grinders was out of this world! And they aren't little for $5.50. We ordered our sandwiches at the counter but from their signs it looks like you can order ahead online and pickup, which is convenient. The woman manning the register was so nice to talk to. She saw me wandering around with two frozen ducks and took them off my hands so I could keep shopping. This place has a little country store feel to it, with all the odds and ends you need for a full meal. We loved it and we WILL be back.

Fantastic assortment of meats and fish. The prices are a little bit more than what you would find at a normal grocery store BUT the quality of meats are much much greater than that of any other store in the area. I known people who travel dozens of miles away just to shop here. Check out their meat package if you are interested in saving some money. Their deli for fresh sandwiches are always a delight.

Don't waste your money at a grocery store! This is REAL high quality meat to feed your family! Multiple meat packages and options available. HIGHLY recommend the bacon! If you haven't had butcher shop bacon, you haven't lived!

Favorite place to come for meats, smoked products, and sandwiches!!! We drive 30 minutes twice a month to get all of the above! Today, I ordered a roast beef wrap. I think they put almost 1/2 lb of roast beef in the wrap! (See the photo attached) Their smoked products are top notch - and so are their employees. I had a smoked hock in my basket and the cashier looked at it, and didn't like the way it looked - he went to the area where I got them and looked at EVERY smoked hock there and did not find one that looked good (he saw white specks on the skin). WOW. What cashier - anywhere - cares about the quality of their products? I was very, very impressed! You can also talk with the butcher; on a recent visit I did not see any ground pork so I spoke with the butcher and he went in the back and grounded some for me. Top quality products top-notch people and excellent customer service - I am forever a loyal client.

I frequent this place less now that I'm vegan but I do recall their sausage was worth the trip. Well stocked store, friendly service.

Bristol, Connecticut is my birth place! Then when I was 2 years old my family moved to New London, Connecticut and we lived there till I was 9, 1968! Then we moved again back to my mom and dad's hometown of Poland Spring, Maine. Many of you have probably drank the water from here!? I see that Prime Cuts sell this water Lol! I still have family in Connecticut and I visit them a few times a year! And every time that I make this trip Salem Prime Cuts is a must stop to get Grinders! THE BEST! Then on my way home back to Maine I have to stop to get more Grinders to bring back to family because they are THE BEST and Maine does not have Grinders! And lots of times while I'm waiting for my Submarine Sandwiches I would shop around the meat department! WOW! Fresh cut meat and some delicious stuffed meats! I fill my freezer back in Maine! Thank you Salem Prime Cuts for Fresh and Delicious Meals!

Walked in and the deli was packed for lunch. Ordered a turkey sub for my boyfriend and turkey wrap for myself. Best I’ve had in a long time. They packed those babies full of meat. Quick and friendly service too. Love all the different cheese spreads and wide variety of meat for sale. Happy to know it’s close by! Will be back.

The best Butch around, the ground beef makes some of the best burgers.

I go out of my way about 30 minutes to pick up my Meats from Salem Prime cuts. The butcher's have greeted me with a smile when they see I have a question. I had an odd request to slice beef bones down the center to create a Bone Marrow Chimichurri and the Master butcher took over and had it done in 5 minutes. Excellent service.

Moved out of state a couple of years ago and I haven't found a butcher as good as this where I live now. Had to Google Salem Prime Cuts thinking I never left them a five star review after years of providing my family with amazing deals and fresh meat. Thank you so much!

Great quality meats. Very friendly and helpful staff. Also have a deli that serves sandwiches and such. In addition they have other miscellaneous items including vegetables, homemade cookies and candies, eggs, etc

Some of the best meats around! They have a full service deli and real butchers! The staff are extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the products they carry and different cuts of meat! The prices are definitely a bit more expensive then chain grocery stores. However the cost is 100% worth it. The flavor and quality of everything they have is off the charts!

Definitely the best customer service I've ever experienced. I bought a standing rib roast the Thursday evening before Christmas. When I took it out of the fridge on Sunday to get ready for Christmas dinner, it was brown and rancid smelling. I made a post about it on Facebook and they contacted me and said that they would replace it ON CHRISTMAS!!!! Absolutely amazing!!! Thank you!!!!!

Grinders are always made to order using all fresh ingredients. As for the shopping end of this business, you will not find freshers meats around with a vegetable here and there to buy to throw together a great meal.

Salem Prime Cuts is an amazing Market. The have a butcher shop with some amazing meat selection. From their own made bacon options, to smokehouse favorites and an impressive selection of beef, pork, and chicken. Want duck? They have that too. Have questions? Ring the bell and help is on the way. The service is spectacular. They have a whole section devoted to deli options. Massive grinders with fresh meats and cheeses. We come here often for their freezer packs to load up our freezer with quality meat. Highly recommended

The best quality meat in Eastern Connecticut by far, maybe even the whole state. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff and great service, and the variety and selection of products is amazing. Doesn't get any better than that!
