I think I found a second home… this place is a diamond in the rough. So many great finds on your music needs. If you in the area, definitely make time to stop when you get a chance!

I ordered online a CD by the group The Laryngospasms. They had it in stock, new and in a regular cd package. Their pkg was well padded and arrived in perfect condition, shipping was quick and ordering online was easy. Recommend them for old or unusual music selections.

I have been to Redscroll quite a few times over the years, both the old location and the current. Always a great time browsing there. They have a large selection with a wide variety of genres. I never leave empty handed! Took my daughter last visit as she just got into collecting records and she lived it, too!

Talk about a hidden gem … this place is 10/10. Tucked away in what seems to be a business park plaza you’ll find a trove of very diverse music. I’ve been to many indie record shops around the northeast and I think this one takes the cake!!

Such a great shop! Was pleasantly surprised to not only find metal, but it’s own section! Not to mention not just the typical Metallica, Iron Maiden stuff you can find anywhere….BUT a huge wall dedicated to much more obscure/rare/ Underground -black/death and avant-garde metal!
Pleasant staff, and very fair pricing.

I will for sure be back!

Everytime I come to this store I’m surprised at what gems they have! Seriously an amazing selection of albums from every decade, and at crazy good prices considering they’re sealed and sold by a locally run shop.

Stopped in while up from FL, and wow, we founds some gems! If you love to dig, this is the place. All bins are alphabetical too. Staff is extremely nice and helpful.

Another amazing place off the beaten track that had literally thousands of vinyl records and CDs. I have never seen so many SST releases in one place before. Their Hardcore Punk vinyl section was truly inspiring. Could have spent much more !!

Great selection of cassettes & staff is friendly. I'm awkward by nature but they didn't seem to mind, lol. Definitely going to head back there at some point. It's worth checking out for sure!

Great place for new and used vinyl!! They are also very fair when I bring them vinyl for credit. Definitely a must place for your vinyl addition needs!!

Not an exaggeration: one of the best record stores I've been to — the breadth of types of records and the prices. They're in a great new big warehouse-type space now; I can spend all afternoon here (but I'd go broke). Nice guys too.

I've only bought online from them but remember seeing their name enough times in my order history to come to Google and leave a review. If I'm in the state I'm coming to this store.

Full disclosure - I worked for the store for awhile, but I also think, as someone who travels semi frequently and likes to visit record shops, I’d have the same perspective regardless.

Redscroll, hands down, is one of the best record shops I’ve ever been to, if not THE best in terms of selection. You can dig for gems in their used bins but they have plenty of great new records as well. I believe any music fan can find something they’d be interested in ranging from punk to country to black and death metal. Truly an outstanding selection from all genres considered ‘underground’.

Do yourself a favor and stop by here, just budget a good amount of time to go digging. :)

I'm honestly scared at reading the bad reviews hearing about this horrifyingly bad unfriendly staff. While I don't think they would win Congeniality Awards, they were polite and unobtrusive just the way I'd kind of like a record store staff. I'm sure if I needed something they would've been helpful.

But we didn't! The place speaks for itself, good used and some new records and CD's at unbelievably low prices. I swear I bought back all the old records I probably got tossed on me years ago. There was plenty for my wife and myself to take home! Working like new, cheaper than they were in 197x-198x.

We're like many new to the "back to vinyl" world and thrilled to pay way less than new.

For those who get offered only an exchange if bringing back, I can't imagine there isn't SOMETHING you'd exchange to there! There's so much! We got 7 albums we wanted for $35... seriously that's problematic for some people?

I was so delighted to find this haven of vinyl today and no doubt we will be back.
