I've only been here 2 times in my life but both time the employees were extremely helpful and friendly. The selection of fabric is 2nd to none.

Absolutely am thrilled to see their new Waterford location. So well done, variety is outstanding with new fabric arrivals pretty often. Helpful and genuinely friendly folks there to help with anything at all. Plenty clean and open for parking, and in store navigation with a provided small shopping cart. Truly, it is a nice store and folks are looking for input, and are listening to the customers for potential new products to carry or order in.

Great choices of fabrics and great prices. Much larger than previous location in Uncasville.

I love going here for fabric inspiration at such a deal! Sometimes I find a remnant, about 1-2 yards of an interesting print, that "speaks" to me, and I immediately know what that piece "wants" to become, and I can usually find a bolt with coordinating colors somewhere else in the store to complete the idea. They recently expanded into the 2nd floor of the building, and now there are even more choices! I call it a "dangerous place" because I could spend hours there gathering up material for so many possible sewing projects and end up spending more than I intended, despite the low price per yard!

A lot of different options for all projects. Staff was very kind and friendly. 10/10 will be back again.

I absolutely love this place! I am making myself a dress for the Renaissance Faire, and making my boyfriend a matching outfit. For less than $25 I got more than enough fabric! I'll definitely be back.

This is one of my favorite fabric stores of all time! They have a great selection of fabric (two whole floors!) that is all just $3/yard. They also have a decent selection of notions, zippers, stuffing, etc. although these aren't always as cheap. I did not see any patterns for sale here, so you have to shop elsewhere for that, but otherwise Affordable Fabrics has pretty much everything you need for sewing projects.

I love both locations of Affordable Fabrics, but it's worth noting that this one has more space and thus more fabric than the Rocky Hill one. So even if you visit that location regularly like I do, this one is still worth a stop when you're in the area.

I've been going here for years and have never had a bad experience. The staff is friendly and helpful and I've never felt rushed. The choice of fabric was somewhat limited this visit, but that's to be expected what with the current COVID-19 situation. I'm already looking forward to my next visit! Thanks, you guys! You're all great!

Hidden Gem. Great assortment, 100s of fabric designs, colors and weights at prices almost too good to be true.
Quilters, decorators, families with kids, and the fashion forward will LOve this place. Very friendly folks too.

Love this place. I get all of the fabric and be other sewing supplies I need to create interesting things. Their customer service is phenomenal, they remember me every time I come and they're patient and knowledgeable.

Cheapest gas my gas buddy directed me to this place twice in the past month clean its like brand new employees were very friendly

The very best fabric store on the planet 2.99 a yard. Even for stuff that is 7 yards wide it's only $2.99 per linear yard I have literally made window coverings sashes and curtains for my whole house a whole Victorian hundred-year-old house with three bedrooms for maybe $60 this place is amazing they also have clothing material and quilting material and literally every single thing no matter how fancy or how cheap or how rare or how mundane is $2.99 a yard that is amazing

I love this place and whenever I have a big project, I check here for what I need before any place else. Their prices are fantastic! Some of the staff aren't the most friendly, but the owner is really nice and always engaging.

Well priced. May not have everything you need but when you find something you want here make sure to grab it. Theres no guarantee it'll be there again! You can't beat the price at $2.99 a yard.

Miscellaneous items for many projects, two floors in the old home.A nice variety to choose from.They have thread in different colors,pins,buttons,zippers,hooks,snaps, scissors,rainbow of colors for material,fringe,a variety of trim and beading trim and much more.M-F 9-6,SAT & SUN 10-6.A good work staff with seeing knowledge,very pleasant and helpful.

I LOVE this place. The have the best selection of fabrics and you can't beat the price. So said I moved across the country! :(

Affordable Fabrics – Montville, CT

Located in an old Victorian home seemingly in the middle of nowhere is an adorable store called Affordable Fabrics. Great selection of interesting patterns and fabrics plus great customer service make this your destination stop for that “just so” piece of fabric whether you're sewing that special article of clothing or making that one of a kind arts and craft creation. And…, you can't beat the value!

Five stars! The inside of the shop is much bigger than it looks in the pictures, so there's a ton of selection. And it's cheap! So cheap! If you need any fabric for any reason, I would recommend this shop.
