Amish Country Granary

We spent a weekend at the Granary and can't wait to return. It's a truly special place, one that will instantly take you back in time to the days when the world was moving at a much slower pace. The granary is warm and welcoming, and we loved the cozy interior with all its attention to detail. John, the owner, is such a kind and thoughtful host! He made sure we had everything we needed (including butter, cream, and continued heat from the oven) and was available to us throughout our entire stay. His buggy rides and a visit to the nearby Amish bakery are an absolute must! We so enjoyed connecting with John, and felt well taken care of throughout the entire time. This is a perfect get-away if you want to slow down, re-charge and connect with nature. You may find it hard to leave - we certainly did!

This place is just AMAZING! My husband and I went here for our 22nd Anniversary and it was by far the BEST trip we have ever had! From the stunning sunsets and sunrises to the bon fire at night. Seeing all the deer, turkeys, birds and a couple fox! Its a must to go on a buggy ride to the Paint Creek bakery and see Maddie! Oh and you must try her amazing cinnamon rolls and bread! And to the host John he made us feel as if we were family as soon as we got there! He truly is just an amazing, kind and loving guy. He makes you feel that it is your home while you are there. Oh and you must try is AMAZING coffee! While you are there make sure you take him up on his offer to take you on a cart ride on the Old Township Road! If you want are wanting a relaxing and peaceful trip this is just the place to go. We have already booked are next trip in May 2020 and October 2020.
