Support Enforcement Services

I feel like an outsider in this point of view, but this office has been nice to me when I have had need to talk to them. These are people doing a job that I'm sure nobody envies. Consider how many vile angry things they have probably had to hear from those angry already about a situation, and looking to dump on anyone. A little helpful advice, Be Nice. Treat others as you would like to be treated. Surprisingly, you may find easier answers and more cooperation from this office if you drop your anger out of it. Just a little hint, they do remember nice people and it makes shorter transactions.

So far after having to deal with them so many years they have always been good with me and worked promptly on my case. My ex who I in the rears of over 63k thought $156 was enough but Child Support deemed other wise. I turned to them after years of trying on my own. They been doing their job and doing everything possible to give me the best service possible.

Takes advantage of the disabled. Enforces unlawful child support orders. Double check everything with this place they don’t follow the law!

I can't even get my child support properly. My child's father pays on time and has proof but Support Enforcement tells me that there is a glitch in the system one minute and then the next tells me cause the employer pays 61 cents more than they should weekly and that it messes their system up. There should be no reason I don't get paid on time if my ex is paying it through wage garnishment and the employer sends it out weekly. Every other week, I'm shorted. Its ridiculous. When I ask for a supervisor I get 0 response.

I’ve been fighting to receive child support. My sons dad has lived in the same town for over 20 years. There’s no motivation for CT CSE to go after him. Every time he’s been in contempt, he doesn’t show up to court. When he did show, they restart the order and nothing happens to him. He received a large insurance settlement where he could have paid it all. They failed to intercept it. My son is 35 years old and he still owes me money. This is a complete failure in the part of CT CSE!

All they do is just keep a tally of what is owed to you and your child...they have no intent on going to get it. It's like having someone remind you how much they owe you and they hand you an I.O.U. and call it good.

I do not understand the point of a court order for support when they don’t enforce anything... it’s funny when the system punish the ones for care for the kids they have but when you have a Deadbeat that could careless and haven’t seen his child in over a year nor call enough to call or even ask about the child they get away with half payments and not following a court order...

Tries to enforce child support orders that are not even under their power or jurisdiction.

Hold for 1 1/2 hours before I just hung up

A joke, they enforce nothing.
