Recently hosted a 40th Birthday at Iron Horse and cannot rave enough about the event. Frank, the Manager, was incredibly helpful and responsive, which made planning the party for 60 people really simple. They were able to assist with bringing in a Trivia Master and the place looked amazing with the decorations we bought. The food and choices were awesome - everyone raved (get the egg rolls!) and all in all it was the perfect evening. Can't thank Frank and his team enough for making the evening such a huge success and we'll definitely be hosting parties there again!

First time here. Food was great! Grace our waitress was awesome 👍🏽. Glad we were an inspiration to her. Salmon was great. Reuben was great. Everything was great. Good service. Definitely will come back!

We went to watch the football playoffs this past Sunday, Jan 21, 2024. i had the dry rub wings and they were one of the best wings that I've had in a long time. Atmosphere was fun and festive! Service was excellent. Would recommend. We did make reservations to sit in the bar on the high top tables.

My husband and I go to happy hour here almost every week. Great vibe, food, drinks, atmosphere. The servers/bartenders there are welcoming, helpful, and always provide awesome service. Outdoor seating in warmer months is a boon. Lucky to have a place like this so close to home!

Very good food, like jaw droppingly good food and wonderful atmosphere. Lights aren't too bright and the woodwork is a very deep brown color. Super cozy place to eat and get a drink. Lots of good beers on tap and the specials for the night I was there looked like they were wonderful if you're more of a cocktail person. Also it's a bit spotty on mobile data in there, luckily they have guest free wifi access that works great

Iron Horse Pub in Simsbury is a must for lunch or dinner if you are ever near town. My choice for a lunch stop while riding in the bike path, this place is hands down, one of the best local pizza places! The weather was nice and I chose to sit outside near the garden. The nearby plants provided a sense of comfort and nature while I poured over their menu. The beer list was extensive and creative, allowing for someone to imbibe upon something new. There were standbys and seasonal selections; all in all, a superb selection. The staff was attentive, friendly, and prompt despite it being pretty busy with indoor, outdoor, and pick up diners all looking to dine. Price point was quite reasonable and the pizza was truly superb. Fresh ingredients, and strong punches of flavor. Outstanding experiences await! Support this local diamond!

Must have caught them on an off day this time. Not busy but everyone's beer glass was empty each time before they'd ask to get more. Bought several $5 bar bites off the happy hour menu but was charged 8.50 for the fried pickles. Still good place to go.

We love going to the Ironhorse Pub for the fun ambiance and the Blackened Salmon Salad. Try it with Feta Cheese instead of Cheddar for a unique twist.

The SImsbury High School Sports Hall of Fame had our 6th annual golf tournament fundraiser October 7th 2023 at beautiful Hop Meadow CC. Nobody better then our friends @ Hop ⛳.

After a great day of golf, memories & camaraderie, 60 folks trucked a mile down Plank Hill road for our dinner banquet celebration at Iron Horse Sports Pub.

The staff at Iron Horse could not have been more accommodating & flexible. Due to weather conditions we weren’t sure what time the Trojan HoF crew would invade IR. They said just let us know and we will be ready for you.

Thankfully we were able to get our tourney completed and walked into Iron Horse to their atrium banquet room. It was all set up for us, and we were greeted with a big smile & welcome from Frank Ippolito.

Frank & his IR staff were all set up for us, and everything was as planned. The private room bar was ready to roll. With wide screen TV’s going with college football, the bartender’s ready to take beverage orders, the cold portions of our buffet all set to go, Frank even had a Bluetooth system at our ready for music.

The awesome Trojan vibe that we had from Hop Meadow CC continued on at the Iron Horse Sports Pub venue.

These folks were so accommodating & helpful to insure our night was a success.

We had food & dessert left over, and Frank made announcement that folks could make up a “to go” box, and brought out containers for us to use. The delicious deserts ( as was the outstanding food) were absolutely the first attack for those take away options!

Sorry for the long review, I don’t write many of these, however I felt that the folks @ Iron Horse Sports Pub took such great care of our crew that I needed to share our experience.

Definitely consider using this establishment for your upcoming Group events, small or large. And with the 2023 holiday season fast approaching, cannot think of a better venue to make your gathering a success.

Every time I visit the staff is most welcoming and friendly. The wings are amazing good. I like the fact that this venue has events and they advertise some of them onFacebook. I've attended their monk's beer event, watched a couple of liverpool games with a meetup group, caught an NFL playoff game. Good drink prices too.

The wings are always delicious. They are also huge pieces of chicken. Mondays half price burgers. You can't go wrong with any of the sandwiches. Of course the People choice pizza is very good too.

Sheridan was so nice! The food was good, I ordered a Caesar salad with added tomato and they arranged tomato pieces around the bowl. It looked like little tomato flower petals. I noticed & appreciated that! 🌼 :)

whisper was an amazing server and such a great place to eat with the family!

Been coming here for months for trivia on Wednesdays. We look forward to seeing Molly every week when we’re able to reserve a table! She’s so fun, friendly, attentive, and always willing to accommodate any special request we have. Despite the chaotic trivia atmosphere she is always calm and collected and makes everyone feel like a regular. Mark behind the bar is the best!! Never fails to make the best drinks, one of the coolest bar tenders I’ve ever had. Love seeing him on nights we chose the bar rail. Overall great atmosphere, excellent food and really great times had by all!

This is finally our spot! We moved to Simsbury just over a year ago and it took us until about a month ago to discover Iron Horse and have been repeat customers ever since and cannot step foot in that place without ordering their boneless wings. OMG what a juicy chunky perfectly crispy perfect wing. I have no problem going there and ordering 10 of them for dinner with a soda and nothing else

Rico, nice service , you just have to wait to be sit , you either can sit inside or outside, you wear your mask until you already order ,then you can take it off.
Pretty nice place !.
