This was our first trip here and we loved it so much that we are booked for next year Memorial Day Wknd. Very clean bathrooms. Having 2 very clean pools was wonderful! Along with all the activities that filled our wknd with our friends making memories to last a lifetime. Everyone here was so nice and welcoming. Thank you!

My family and I started as weekend campers years ago which eventually we became seasonal campers. Brian & Theresa welcomed us into their family orientated campground with open arms. The staff always provides exceptional customer service & we enjoy patronizing their store & love the snack bar!! The grounds, pools, bathrooms are always clean. We can’t thank the Cinea family, their extended families & staff enough for prioritizing a safe and well run campground!!

Amazing family run campground. Lots of fun activities for the whole family. The roads are all safe due to enforced speed limits -my grandkids love to run around and ride skateboards and bikes. The owners couldn’t be nicer or more accommodating. This is our first summer here at Salem Farms and we can’t wait to come back!!

My family and I brought our 5th wheel to Salem Farms and had an incredible experience. We are on a summer long trip, and needed to bring our 5th wheel to have the fridge fixed. The campground was nice enough to allow us to move into a rental unit for the 2 nights needed while this was happening, didnt charge us for our regular site those 2 nights despite the short notice and were super helpful for the entire process! After returning with our camper, we had an electrical issue at the site (50 amp breaker) kept tripping on the post. I called, and within 20 minutes someone was there to change the breaker out at 6 PM at night.

I will say this camp ground has a lot of rules, unfortunately the rules are due to guests that have done some dumb things. Do not focus on every rule, focus on being a good person, and the 'rules' will not infringe on anything you are trying to do.

This was one of the friendliest campground we have stayed at in the north east, and we hope to stop by again someday!

Salem Farms Campground is so awesome! This summer will be our 3rd year going! We tent with our entire family! The 2 pools, what we call the rec room, the playground, hayrides that give you a tour of the most gorgeous RV sites! Daily activities for kids and adults! Ice cream and snack bar! Small petting zoo, large area for kids to play and run around while parents are still able to sittervise! We have always gone for 2 nights but last year we made a pact to stay for 3 nights so we can have 2 full days! Thank you Salem Farms Campground for accommodating our family! We can't wait to see you this summer! 2023!!

This was our first trip with our new camper. We came to find we were missing pieces for the camper to have hot water, cable and our refrigerator malfunctioning. The owner and his family went out of their way and above and beyond to help us and had everything we needed! Thank you all so much for making our first trip easy. This campground is so family oriented, clean and our children had such a blast. Our dog did amazing as well. Will definitely be back for sure! We highly recommend Salem Farms Campground!!!

The staff were friendly. The entire campground is super clean. The bathrooms also clean and smelled like roses. The sites are very close together. Had it been a weekend with people on every site, we would have been able to reach out and shake hands with the neighbors while sitting at our picnic table 🤗

There Are many seasonal campers, Those we did meet during our stay were very friendly. One even gave us wood since the office was closed.

I have breathing issues and being my first trip without my partner, I was concerned with pumping out on my own. I offered to pay for the honey wagon that was pumping out a seasonal camper literally across the road from me. The office staff said they didn’t have time to accommodate transient campers. I was directed to the pump out station area and told just hook your hose to the septic line. I did have a struggle with the lever and the hose, but got it done without a mess.

Overall it was a peaceful get away. I do recommend it. Though I was there during the weekdays I am sure it is a hopping place during the weekends.

Awesome site! We went up as guests of some friends who are seasonal renters here - swimming pools, playgrounds, a small convenience store on site, goats (!!!) And they had a band play at the front/top of the property on Saturday night. The campsites look like little neighborhoods with landscaped and decorated yards and campers! Great family campground- everyone was super nice and there were lots of kids running around. Did I mention seasonal campers get around in golf carts? Great site, we will definitely be coming back :)

This was our first year as a seasonal camper at Salem farms campground. We were camping in New Hampshire and wanted to make a change to be closer to home. I had never heard of this campground but when we first came to look at it we felt it would be a good fit for us and we are sure glad we did. The campground is not huge but it is perfect. The things that mean the most to us are here. Friendly family owned campground the owner BRIAN and his family are always willing to help and run a very nice quiet family campground. They have two pools that are very clean and not over crowded which is awesome. The bathroom and the grounds are also very very clean. They have Friday night adult bingo and many activities through the weekend. The snack bar is great too with local ice cream.

We wanted to change sites for next year and they couldn’t have been more accommodating since we essentially couldn’t make up our mind. When we finally did the owner moved our 5 the wheel for us without a hitch. Our new neighbors all welcomed us to our new spot. The seasonal campers here are so friendly.

There are some things this campground doesn’t have that a bigger one may, but if your looking for a peaceful get away with a nice family run campground this is the place for you.
looking forward to next year.

We have been seasonal campers at this campground for 2 1/2 years now and we love it. It's a smaller campground which is one of the reasons we love it. Our older child is able to go off with her friends and play and we know she is safe while the younger one is able to stay in watching distance but can ride his bike and I know he is safe because everyone is so good at keeping an eye out for the little kids. Kids come first at this campground. The staff is so friendly, kind, and goes above and beyond helping the kids feel grow up when they go to the store by taking the time to help them count their money. When ever we have needed something we have gotten a answer in no time at all. The bathrooms and pool areas are always so clean. I love the fact that you can go up later on a Friday night and eat there in their snack bar and their fried dough is the BEST. On a hot day while at the pool you can buy ice cream from the snack bar. There are two playgrounds that the kids can use and a big field for games. Like I said this is not a huge campground but it's perfect and I know my kids are safe. I could go on and on. I look forward to another great season with such great people.

Update.... we are on year 4 at Salem Farms and still love it the same as we started if not more. We have made many camping family bonds with fellow campers as well as some weekenders we have met while camping. We do have a new addition to the family which is our puppy Chewbacca and while yes he isn't suppose to be on the fields there are grass lines for him to walk on while walking down the roads.

We came for one week and stayed three. We are in a large Class A diesel and were well accommodated. Many sites suitable for big rigs but all sizes of rigs, trailers and tents are welcome. Loved it all. Great staff and friendly campers. Dancing and live music. Hay rides, if you can believe it. Wonderful. Really comes alive on weekends. Clean and well managed. This is a family friendly "camp ground" not a "resort." Not suitable for your drunken, fraternity party. Beautiful surroundings and near attractions from New London to farm stands and charming small towns and antique shops.

Safety is their top priority. Kids can, safely, ride bikes all over the campground as speed limits are strictly enforced. Wild and unsafe behavior results in removal. The family keeps a close watch on the camp/campers and, especially, kids. A safe and fun campground for all ages.

We had a family weekend at the campground over Father’s Day and had a wonderful time. The staff was most helpful in getting us set up as we did not have the correct plug for electricity. The activities, pool, snack bar, Father’s Day dinner, bonfire and DJ were enjoyed by everyone. We will be visiting again in September for another weekend..... this time an early Halloween. Looking forward to another fun camping experience.

We are really liking this campground. Very clean. We are right across from new shower house. Laundry room good sized with maybe 6-7 washers & dryers - reasonable priced. They just uncovered 2 ingrown pools. Staff is friendly and helpful. Love the donkey & goats. Large sites with fireplace, picnic table, trash can at site. Electric & water & grey water hook up. They have dump station and if you stay longer time they come around and pump your sewer. Would definitely come back here again.

Our experience at Salem Farms has always been positive. The pools are clean and we understand the rules (no more than other campgrounds) are intended to keep everyone safe. I bring my grandchildren here because I appreciate the clean pools and activities. Missy even called me asking if my grandchildren would like to participate in a pumpkin carving event in an effort to get a head count for a pumpkin order. Not many campgrounds would bother or care. The staff has always been friendly to me and my grandchildren -- offering to assist in any way possible. A camper needn't even worry about backing in properly if you have a tent trailer or RV….the boys/father guide you in easing you onto your site eliminating embarrassment if backing your rig is a challenge for you.

There is a DJ every Saturday night - a great place to meet fellow campers. The store is well stocked with emergency items and essentials….I even found chocks affordably priced. The ice cream bar sells Farmer's Cow at a very affordable price given the generous portions.

We've been camping here with our grandchildren for three years now… we have never felt prices and rules are unfair. Running a campground is a huge responsibility when there are children all over the place and first/second timers create a disruptive atmosphere.

Helpful and friendly staff.

I can't ever say enough about this place. Every year my experience gets better. The staff is friendly courteous and accommodating. The grounds are clean and well kept. There are numerous activities for kids and adults to participate in on the weekends. A variety of lawn games, 2 pools, basketball and volleyball courts and other activities. We go as a large tent group and have always enjoyed it. Already reserved our week for next year.

This is a wonderful family campground. Family run, family values. We have been a seasonal here for 19 years. What a great, safe place for my grand kids to spend the summer. Lots of activities, two pools (crystal clear), loads of very nice families.

Love this place. Just got back from our yearly friends and family camping trip. We have been camping there for over 5 years and we love it. We went to a different campsite one year and our kids begged us to go back to Salem. The owners are very nice and accommodating. Since our group is large (20 adults and 10 kids) and we tent, we make use of their large pavilion to set up a kitchen and eating area. This year they were in the process of putting a new roof. When the owner saw that it was supposed to rain for most of our stay, he went and bought a tarp and covered the roof so we could still use it while it rained. Can't say enough about this place and how nice the family that owns it run it. We are already booked for next year.

I have been camping here since I was a child and it's amazing! My children enjoy the various activities that they have along with the freedom to enjoy tennis, mini golf, swimming & basketball at their leisure. My husband and I love how safe and friendly the environment is. My children love visiting the animals on site as well. The facilities are clean and the camp store is great! Salem Farms is a must when it comes to CT camping!
