I cannot say enough great things about The Wedding Dress. I went there for a MOB & MOG dress (my kids are getting married 15 mo.s apart ). I was so happy with the selection of dresses to choose from. Abbie, the owner, is not only professional but very friendly . She makes looking for the perfect dress fun & easy! I’m happy to have ordered a gown from her & my daughter will definitely be going back there to shop for her wedding dress. I had been to 4 Bridal salons in total, and by far, Abbie’s salon is the best! I highly suggest going to The Wedding Dress for the best experience for all your wedding gown needs!

I could not speak more highly of Abbie and my entire dress experience at The Wedding Dress! In January 2020 right before the pandemic Abbie helped me coordinate a beautiful Champagne Sunday with all my sisters, my mom, my aunts, my sister in laws, my mother in law, and finally one of my best friends! We had the shop all to ourselves and had light snacks and obviously champagne! Not only did she help me find a perfect dress but she made picking it a beautiful part of my wedding experience! Well worth the extra money I spent to reserve a Champagne Sunday!

As a plus size bride, I didn't have much hope finding a dress at a boutique rather than the big box store (I'm not sure why I thought that they were for model sized ladies) ... But Abbie had plenty of options to show me that would come in my size and even if the samples didn't quite fit she made it work so I could figure out if I liked the dress. It was so relaxing and comfortable.

The pandemic slowed down the dress delivery but Abbie kept me up to date through the whole process. It was out of her control but she made she I was well informed and comfortable that she was doing everything she could.

For alterations, she recommended Dora who is a seamstress they worked with and that was a gem of an experience as well. She was professional and skilled and riot to chat with!

My many sisters have gone to David's bridal for their dresses and none of this was sure how'd this would go but I could not be more thankful that some one recommended The Wedding Dress to me!

Abbie listened to everything I was looking for, and pulled all sorts of different dresses to help me find my dream dress AND the perfect veil. I was able to customize my veil adding a second layer to a single layer fingertip length veil, and customize the size of my dress for a better fit. She has a range of different styles and prices for her gowns. Abbie is also super knowledgeable about the appropriate timeline for ordering gowns, and ensured I was ordering everything at the right time for my wedding. After having some difficulty with alterations, she jumped right in and connected me with an alternative seamstress so my dress would still be done on time for my wedding. I had such a great experience with my wedding dress that I knew I had to come back with my girls for their bridesmaid dresses. I can’t thank Abbie and Shelley enough for all they’ve done!

I went to a lot of different shops to try on dresses, and The Wedding Dress was so unique! Abbie is absolutely amazing! She carries a wide variety of beautiful dresses and was so talented at helping me find the perfect one. She also was able to help with every detail, from tailoring to steaming to having my dress preserved afterwards. Highly recommend!!

Got my dress, headpiece and bra at the Wedding Dress. They are plus size friendly and provide a variety of dresses. Listen to their advice and they will make you feel beautiful for your big day. They also have shoes, belts, veils, prom dresses, and bridal party dresses. They keep up with the newest trends as well. I got my dress two years ago and the wedding was this month. I know that this dress is now no longer available but I still love it.

Dress Selection: The Wedding Dress was the second place I went to look for dresses, and it was such a great experience. I had a general idea of what I wanted, but nothing locked in within my budget. So we got to pull dresses, no matter the price, to narrow down the style. The team pulled a dress from the back that was the exact style and right in budget for me. I definitely had that “bridal moment”!

Tailoring: We worked with their tailor in Downtown Middletown to have the dress tailored, and the process was incredibly quick and easy. Her pricing was very fair for the level of work she put into the dress, and she was very transparent with her charges. She also offers steaming of the dress and veil, which was a nice touch!

Wedding Day: Our wedding was held up a mountain during a record-breaking snowstorm - over a foot of snow and blizzard conditions on the day of our wedding. While I wanted some snow on the ground, I think this was more than anyone planned for. I felt like a snow princess in a fairy tale. My dress was so beautiful and I couldn’t have asked for anything better!

Wonderful experiences at the Wedding Dress. My granddaughter and my grandson's future wife both chose their dresses there! The staff is so helpful and caring. I also chose my dress when my granddaughter went for her first fitting. No pressure to buy this establishment wants brides, wedding party and others to be happy with their choices!

I had the most amazing experience here for my first ever appointment trying on wedding dresses. I worked with Abbie and she made me feel so comfortable during a time when I had no idea what to expect. I never felt rushed or pressured - I had a pretty long appointment compared to what other places allowed. I can’t say enough great things, I highly recommend looking here for your bridal search!

What an amazing store! Abbie was so helpful and listened to what I was looking for in a wedding dress. She has absolutely no judgement and made me feel so comfortable. I had a horrible experience at another dress store and was ready to call it a day, but after going to this store the mood was completely shifted in the most positive way.
