Café Luna

I can't think of a restaurant that welcomes customers as warmly as this one. On Mother's Day we had a 1:00 PM reservation but asked to change it to 2:30 because our grandson decided to nap. They graciously changed it. The entire staff was friendly and went out of their way to make our toddler comfortable. The food was excellent and served quickly. Two of us had eggplant parmigiana that was lightly battered and melted in our mouths. My wife had a delicious chicken/shrimp special with spinach and tomato and a special sauce. They have a nice banquet room for small parties.
We will definitely return. Maybe we will try their outside seating on a nice summer night.

Delicious Italian! Their specials are always creative and unique. Their seafood is of great quality and variety. Nice outdoor lighted seating area.

Recently attended a party here in the banquet room and the food for the buffet was outstanding. The meatballs are unbelievable, the spaghetti was very good, and the penne vodka was also a 9 out of 10. Good salad with garnishes of oranges which was an excellent surprise. We'll definitely stop by for dinner one night, just don't blink as you drive by because in all my years of driving I have never noticed a restaurant in that plaza.

We’ve lived all over the place and tried so many restaurants in our life time. Sometimes after several bad experiences you almost give up with thinking your going to have a perfect meal perfect service perfect experience. This place nailed all 3. Perfect!!!!!!!! The food was absolutely mouth watering. We lost track of time we told our server we needed our food as quickly as possible so we can dine in and go. Our server was more then helpful with getting our food out to us as quickly as she could. We ordered soups ,chicken parmigiana, steak special —they both came with a side salad with Italian dressing. So good so good so good!!!!!!!! I have so many dietary restrictions eating out can be SUCH a chore. Sometimes it’s not even worth it. Garlic is a major killer for me when dining out. Gluten ..lactose honestly a diet of twigs and leaves has crossed my mind more then one occasion. The aftermath of a meal can really cause such havoc it’s honestly NOT worth it sometimes to eat out. I really can’t express how happy we are to have found this place. If you haven’t come in .. dine in .. take out ..whatever your in the mood to do this place is perfect. Thank you and we look forward to coming again very soon. I’m sorry have to say it again.. .. .. thank you!!!!!!!!!

Food was good. Great service. I loved the bread and the dipping oil with sundried tomatoes.

We got BLTs for lunch. So good. Tons of bacon. Fries were crispy and delicious. Will definitely come back for more.

Tonight’s Dining Adventure takes us to Café Luna in Cromwell, Connecticut for some amazing Italian cuisine. Simple delicious spaghetti & meatballs with a Creme brûlée’ for dessert... Absolutely delicious. Right off the highway and plenty of convenient parking make this a must visit restaurant! — eating dinner at Café Luna.

We were having a rough day and stopped in for lunch. Comfort food was called for, so I ordered spaghetti and meatballs. The sauce was absolutely lovely: strong, bright tomato flavor with just the right balance of herbs and salt (and a bay leaf — I love the flavor of bay and always put a couple in my own sauce, so that was a lovely touch). The meatballs were also beautifully seasoned, with just the right balance between browning and tenderness.

D ordered a Reuben, which he clearly enjoyed. I stole a few of his fries, which were crisp and tender.

Service was impeccable: personable without being intrusive, with a few much-appreciated kind words wishing us a better day than we'd been having.

We dined outdoors on the porch overlooking the dining garden, which was lovely.

Overall, a very good experience. We'll definitely return.

Stopped in for lunch and the food was excellent! The clam chowder was amazing, the meatballs were some of the best I’ve had!

Food is always great. Twice we have gotten gluten free food due to a serious allergy and they have taken the time to understand the allergy and prepare a delicious meal.

The gluten free baked ziti tasted as good or better as any other I have tasted

We loved it! Can't believe we've lived so close by for so long and only just tried Cafe Luna tonight. The salmon piccata is excellent and my husband's carbonara was sooo good!

Service is superb! Food is good (tasty)! Whether you're dining in or having a party you won't be disappointed!!

The food here is AMAZING!! Specially the bread and olive sauce with spices!! A little pricey...but is worth it.

Best food I have ever tasted in the whole CT. Their pene alla vodka is to die for. Everyone is always so kind when I come to pick up my order or when I placed an order. Definitely recommend 100%

This is our "go-to" restaurant. The food is incredible!!! We usually only go once a month, but look forward to that visit! There are some servers that don't seem to care about their tips because they don't seem to know that you are even there. If you find a good server (as we did), ask for them every time you go there. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone!

Okay..overall this restaurants food screams I'm amazing. I didn't take any pictures but will next time. The chef has outdone himself. I recommend if you enjoy Italian food this is a great place and you will enjoy. I am ready to go back today and I was just there last night.

They had such beautiful lights up for Christmas, and I cannot get over how delicious the food is! I've been here three times in three months and haven't had a single bad dish. I'm half Italian (Naples and Calabria regions) and I swear their food tastes *exactly* like what my dad used to make when I was little.
