Great quick prepared meal options (fish meals, burgers and sandwiches). Nice market. Friendly service. Decent beer selection. Picnic tables outside to eat at or take-out.

It has all the camping things you need from kitchen utensils to tents to mattress to ice to towels to snacks and food and souvenir items. Love it!

A few years ago when the old market was bought and renovated- I was a bit sad to lose the dumpy dingy version because- nostalgia. The new owners have cleaned up the place and have made it so nice. They are kind, the breakfast sandwiches are delicious and they have fabulous and unique Assateague themed t shirts. Check them out if you’re in the area! Thanks guys for your help today!

If you want souvenirs, mugs, stickers, post cards, camping gear, drinks, food,all the things. This is the spot to get them. Additionally Has the least expensive paper plates!! That might sound like a random fun fact, but when all the other spots want a night with your wife or your new born child $3 plates is relevant. Best egg n cheese sammich ever!!

We had a tent fly away situation and were thrilled not only to find a wide variety of stakes but incredibly reasonable prices. We commented that to the clerk, and she told us they wouldn't feel right gouging. What a refreshing change! I'm not sure when I'll be back in the area, but this is a great stop for your needs, unexpected or otherwise, and for some fun souvenirs.

An awesome family establishment with great food and everything you could want for the beach/camping. Highly recommend the cheesesteak, spicy mahi BLT, and the fry cook’s two-tone El Camino.

It's been flipped! Forget all the previous reviews. These new owners are in it to win it. So clean and bright. The food is fantastic. We've stopped for breakfast twice so far and look forward to many more fresh quick bites.

You pass may fast food and chain restaurants on your way to Assateague, a few miles towards the water you drive upon this market. Friendly owners and staff, spotlessly clean facility and a good place to get some quick sandwiches and the like. Local support is an important part of todays world. I will gladly stop by again and do business with this establishment.

Nice little store on the way to visit Assateague Visitor Center / Island. It has been several years since our last visit but can tell that it has had renovations, everything is clean and organized.

We’ve been coming to Assateague for years and it’s wonderful to see the new owners - Nick and family - completely revamp and upgrade this iconic store. Definitely recommend stopping in for all your last minute (and forgot-at-home) camping and beach supplies. Nick and his crew are good people who are working hard to make your Assateague visit a fun one. Thank you, Nick!

Amazing local shop! Has everything you might typically and u typically need or want! Super friendly staff, well stocked, cozy country/coastal store. Picnic table area out front, with umbrellas! Came here 3 times during my 3 days at Assateague Park. Highly recommend! If you need ice or firewood after hours, pay the metal box on the firewood trailer, and be honest!! Keep up the good work guys! Much appreciated!

Great family did an AMAZING revamp of the old market. Beautiful and clean store with everything you could possibly need for Assateague Island. Really good quick food at comparable prices. My marine construction crew and I ate lunch here most days of the week, all summer long, and never had bad meal or bad experience. Plan on working this stop into your trip. The Assateague Market was a wonderful stop on our road trip. The people behind the counter were accommodating and the food was delicious. I asked my wife if we could stay at a nearby hotel just so we could go back for breakfast! Unfortunately had to get back on the road but we will definitely stop again on our way back north. Highly recommend!

If you are on your way to or from Assateague, this is a great little place to stop to stock up on drinks, snacks, and ice for the cooler. It also provides an opportunity for a quick bite to eat, which you can eat outside at one of their picnic tables. It seemed clean and nicely organized with a good variety for a small shop.

Shop looks better than it ever has. I’ll definitely be back for all of my camping and fishing need. Food is also PHENOMENAL! Great flounder and corn fritters. Sweets deals on beer as well! Can’t wait to stop by and see Arthur, Nico and their team again soon!

The food in here is just fantastic. The spicy mahi mahi sandwich is so delicious. Dont pass this place up, it’s a hidden gem.

New owners really out did themselves. The food is fantastic would recommend the Philly cheesesteak cuz they get the rolls fresh. Awesome place to stop and just a great environment. A must if you’re in the area
