Pattaconk 1850 Bar & Grille

Such a great bar with a small hometown feel! They had a make your own bloody Mary bar and the food was delicious. The staff was so nice and attentive. They made you feel at home. Definitely stop by if your in the Chester area.

We had an incredibly sweet and professional waiter, Matt, who made sure we had everything we need, complimented our choices, and got all our orders perfectly. The food was decent. Pub style food, small portions but very tasty. Great appetizers, good drinks menu, and awesome vibe. Very cute place. Prices were fair. Cool scene.

A warm welcome when we first entered. You can feel the history of this place. A small menu usually means they take pride in making each dish to perfection, I can say that is true. They have daily specials that will blow you away. The ultimate brownie dessert was honestly the best brownie I have ever had, it was almost too much. I don't need another brownie for at least a month. The beer and cocktail menu was also amazing. A must try if you are in the area!

The staff here have been beyond fantastic. The food is good. The menu is simple but everything is well done. Joe the Bartender is one of the most friendly and dedicated bartenders I have come across. Try the hotdogs or the spring roll options. They are worth it. While the mug club may seem pricey you are getting way more bang for your bucks if you are a repeat customer. They have a waiting list. While on the waiting list to get a mug you get all the privileges of the rest of the club. Dogs are welcome in the outside seating area. They even have dog bowls for the pups. Overall a great place to call your home bar.

We had and excellent dining experience. Tried a different vegetarian dish: The Do Gooder Grilled mushrooms, smashed avocado, roasted red peppers, fresh mozzarella cheese with roasted pine nuts, on Texas multi grain bread which was excellent. Our son had a Turkey Ruben and my wife had a veggie burger and both were delicious. Very attentive staff, service couldn't be better. Not to be missed when visiting Chester.

I loved the Pattaconks Big Island burger with a side salad. Honestly one of the best burgers I've had. The meal was prepared with talent and the ingredients throughout were fresh and flavorful. Service was prompt and friendly plus there were plenty of options on the menu. I'll be headed back here soon!

I couldn’t imagine Chester without the Pattaconk. Great always rotating selection of beers on tap. Friendly staff and great food. Definitely a must stop whether your a local or just passing thru. Watch their social media and website for specials.

The market is lovely, ambience/staff/food of restaurant are great. Ice cream shop close by was amazing. Few minutes from the market is Gillette castle which offers beautiful scenic views

Always our go-to. It’s close to home, the prices are fair, the service is great and the drinks are strong. And the burgers & sweet potato fries are so good! So is the seafood🤗

Lovely little pub located in downtown chester. Friendly waitstaff and bartender. Plenty of great tavern style food.

Food and service was good, got our order wrong but fixed it so that's fine.

It was very refreshing on a clear sky day to be with my wife enjoy the restaurant that gives the views of flowing water from below the restaurant. The aesthetics were old cafe brewery like in the dining where we had sandwichs and they were tasty. We are vegetarians and we many times don't get good options elsewhere.

Monday at noon all the local spots were packed and ended up at a watering hole and glad we did. Fast service and the food was amazing as we had grilled sandwiches with sweat potatoes fries that were crisp and served hot....yum...and come in it's own metal frying basket...nice touch. I'm not a local but I will be back to try the dinner menu.

The conk in the small town of Chester is great! Take a walk have a beer, visit the many shops, all and all great spot. Take a ride to chester airport watch the planes touch and go...

We stopped in on a busier Friday night for a quick meal. The food was good - just a hamburger and hot dog - and delivered very quickly.

Service was very friendly and attentive. Great atmosphere ( casual ) eating outside.

We parked in one of several parking areas and walked around the restaurant areas. Very glad we found this and will definitely be back.

Great food and service. Ate at the bar. Very comfortable, relaxed atmosphere. Had a delicious grilled chicken sandwich and for $2.00 more substituted a house salad for the traditional sides. Wow! Beautiful assorted fresh greens and really nice toppings. Definitely not what I was expecting. I was very impressed! I would highly recommend stopping by for lunch. I think you'll be glad you did.

We really enjoyed the place, it was just the kind of place we were looking for, food was great, staff were nice people and we love the quaint little town, a few cool shops to check out.
