Olde School Deli

Perfect small town place. We are always greeted and the owner always asks how we are doing. The blueberry pancakes, Baja chicken wrap and hamburgers are my favorites.

One of the best spots in North Canaan! Burgers are excellent, sandwiches are so fresh tasting, the fries and chips made there are sooo good. Favorite breakfast sandwiches too - bacon, egg & cheese on a hard roll! Everything is consistently yummy and the people who work there are friendly and quick. Super family friendly! Oh, and - suuuuuch good coffee!

Gluten free Blueberry pancakes were amazing, and the sandwich I took home was even better!

Olivia and I love our breakfast dates at the olde school deli. We've started getting lunch too, and it was been awesome. Good people and good food!

Family owned and operated. Very friendly staff. I usually order takeout but I have eaten in house a few times. They have a small dining area. The service is prompt and friendly, the food is usually good quality. I have had very few complaints about this establishment over the years. They have great burgers and sandwiches, and their breakfast is the best for the area.

I keep coming back. Rodeo Burger was great!

The wife and I stopped in for breakfast. We both had omlets. They were relish. And the bread they use for toast was delish. We have stopped there for a couple grinders to go. Service food and a good cup of coffee. Love this place.

I love this place! Unfortunately, I live about an hour away, but this has become my "must stop" on the way back from my Great Barrington "stock up" runs. Killer pastrami sandwich and I get the full grinder size so that I have the other half for the next day. The banana peppers are fine on the sandwhich but I hope that they bring in pepperoncinis.

Best breakfast & lunch in the northwest corner, bar none. The staff are friendly, prices are good, food is downright delicious (the coffee is great too!!!)

As we drove around Canaan Connecticut we were pleasantly pleased to spy a huge sign for the Olde School Deli.I had the steak and cheese my son the Bison Burger. The food was delicious truly as great find.

Great atmosphere and neat "artifacts" of school days gone by...this is a place that sparks conversation. The Deli has a nice, varied menu with great lunch choices. The cup of coffee was excellent!

Excellent food and responsive service, they feature boars head deli meat so you can also buy meat and cheese for lunches etc. They have small and large sandwiches but the small is more than generous for the price. You can also get breakfast and burgers as well. Superb!

A very good hot dog! Wanted a good hot dog, took a chance with Olde Town, and they didn't disappoint. Will go back for another! Great roll too!

Absolutely incredible. Fresh Angus burgers on a grilled brioche bun cooked perfectly and homemade potato chips!! Great service too :o)
