North entrance to the seaport museum.
Museum itself is really great. It feels like you are lost in a historical sail town.
A lot of ships which you can explore, a lot of buildings where you can get touch with the history, a lot of fun activities for kids.
The museum even has a small planetarium (which requires additional tickets for the shows), a cruise which was very informative (and you need to buy additional tickets as well) and a small lighthouse with a very nice video list.

We just had our National Association of Marine Surveyors conference there, amazing place and views definitely worth visiting or holding a meeting for your group.

Beautiful building. Exhibits rotate on a schedule. We saw one on streamlining in manufacturing, featuring a lot of boats, outboard motors, and toasters.

This is a new addition to the seaport. We saw the stunning Turner watercolours exhibit in this great space. Staff was informative and helpful as always. Easily accessed from parking across the street. ADA access as well. Free coat room helps with winter bulk so enjoying events is easy.

The Thursday night "under the stars" was amazing. All of the staff are very knowledgeable and most of all friendly. It was an enjoyable experience and I plan to attend the next four coming up

Really nice historic seafront museum, quaint buildings done as period pieces. Lots of displays and boats both in and out of water for you to see and enjoy as well as historic demonstrations and lectures inside of the buildings.

What a gorgeous building and what a manageably-sized exhibition hall, a lovely thing to drop into a bigger day in Mystic, but at nearly $30/pp to see the exhibition without even going over to the main Seaport, consider just getting a membership if you plan to return even once that calendar year.

Beautiful pieces, displayed very nicely.

The exhibition Hall is perfect for the Turner showing. Although they have only a tiny fraction of his works they show his range of interests and styles. Hurry to Mystic to see the exhibition before it disappears for a generation.

Very pleased with the exhibits. Unfortunately we missed the Franklin expedition exhibit on the day we went. It concluded the weekend before.

Worth the trip to see the only showing of this Turner exhibit in the U.S. And, we'll be back. It's a great place to visit.
