The food was off the chain, and the service was so good. The best garlic Knotts I have ever tasted.

When we arrived, we couldn't find the handicapped accessible ramp to get on the sidewalk. We figured it out. It is at the other end of the entire walkway, but the ramp was cluttered with chairs and tables from Paperback Cafe, and all the other businesses had tables all the way to the restaurant. Totally blocking the sidewalk. A man from Fiore had to come out in the rain to start moving all the tables so we could actually get into a restaurant. When we finally did get in the evening, it was wonderful. The food was delicious. The chef even came out, so I could ask to tweak a dish because of allergies. The waitress was hospitable, and everything came out perfectly. Always delicious. The garlic knots are the beginning, and everything has fresh ingredients.
Once Again Paperback Cafe has cluttered up the handicap accessible ramp with table and chairs. Couldn't even get to the restaurant. Utterly disappointed ☹ We shouldn't have to ask for an entire sidewalk of chairs and tables to be moved just so we can eat here. Called Paperback and the manager, or maybe the owner told me after telling him my dilemma, Have Fiore build their own ramp! Smh. No words. 👎

New ownership has breathed new life into this OS landmark! The food is top notch - I would dip everything (maybe even a straw) in their house dressing - the servers are so friendly & sweet, & the chefs truly take the utmost pride in their work. They are also serving beer & wine again! Definitely worth trying for the first time or the first time in a long time!

I’ve been coming to this restaurant for many years. Today, we ordered some of our favorites and noticed that the food was tastier and definitely more delicious. We also noticed that the restaurant had a nicer decor. I told my husband that I think there are new owners and I was right. It’s better than ever. I will continue to come and eat here when I’m in town. The food was delicious, our server was one the owners and she gave us wonderful service and the ambiance was great!

New ownership, definitely better food it was good before but it’s phenomenal now. And whoever the girl is working, the register and grabs takeout orders is probably one of the most respectful young adults of her generation, the manners, and just telling people to have a good day or hoping their day has been good so far, That goes along way!

Excellent meatball grinders! The service was amazing, from the phone call to the pick up everyone was friendly. I did not dine in, but the environment had a very warm and inviting vibe.

The garlic knots are incredible! The Eggplant Fiori was as amazing! Delicious food, great service and kitchen. Best lunch I have had!!

The food at Fiore's is excellent and reasonable. Service was great, too! We have gone a few times and never disappointed in what we order!

about 3 years ago I stopped in for dinner … horrible experience however heard it was under new ownership and thought we’d give it try. And let me tell you it was so worth it ! Last Sunday I stopped in with my family and our experience was unforgettable. The four sisters that worked that night were absolutely top notch. It felt like fine dinning and on top of that the food portions were more than generous. Highly recommend this place you won’t regret it.

TOP 3 BEST PIZZA IN CT. My wife and I moved to Old Saybrook not too long ago and have been in search of a great pizza place. This is definitely it! Everything we’ve had here is amazing and the staff is very nice and accommodating and they truly care. Also, it is a huge perk to find delivery around here. Highly recommended!

Chose this restaurant based on the reviews and what a gem! Clean and classy dining room. Server was so nice and friendly. The food was a grand slam all around. I got the chicken parm, my son a cheese pizza and my husband got a tortellini alfredo. Our 2 year old had bites of everything. Family friendly. Before the food comes you get a big bowl of warm garlic knots!

I honestly cannot understand how anyone can rate the pizza here as anything other than a five star. Their crust is great, as is there sauce and cheese. All the toppings are fresh and high quality, and most importantly, these folks know how to make a pie! This is not rustic, brick fired, $30 gourmet nonsense -- this is old-school, tri-state pizza. And it's about the best this side of New Haven. The garlic roles are phenomenal! Prices are very reasonable and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. We order here all the time and occasionally eat in and always have a great experience.
