This bike was a lot of fun, with another site to see along the way. We enjoyed our time here and look forward to coming back. The falls were absolutely refreshing.

1.12.22 Lots of parking and an easy walking trail through the forest. It was a bit slippery and icy in some spots. Overall the trail was well traveled and easy to follow. Lots of cool spots for photos and beautiful scenery.

Unfortunately the building is closed to visitors right now. Awesome area with tons of hiking trails.

This is a wonderful hiking area for level paths. A lot of different trails so that you can dial in the distance you want to hike. Beautiful waterfall and a lake with beaver lodges in them. Very beautiful and popular.

A great walking/hiking/biking trail!
Our hiking book lists this trail as a 3 mile, 2 hour, 200 foot elevation, easy hike with moderate sections through a "demonstration area for wilderness management".
It is essentially a large (766 acre) trailed woodlands area with wetland sections and informative interpretive signs/look offs noting trees, wildlife, habitats, etc. Beautiful!
The main trail is wide and groomed, with rugged short side trails and (maybe?) connector trails. We checked out two of the short side trails. The "waterfall", very cool but perhaps a loose use of the term. And the fire tower, a short tower with a small but very cool piece at the top naming the mountains/hills in the distance (love that!). Both were well worth checking out, even if they are on the small side.
There are a few steep sections that "get the blood flowing" and I suspect they could be an challenge for anyone with mobility issues.
There is a large building by the parking lot, it was closed when we arrived at 5pm but I suspect it had bathrooms in addition to education information about the park area.
When we arrive around 5pm the large parking lot was almost full and the smaller lot was full. We thought the trails might be crowded, but we only saw about 20 other hikers during the 2 hours we were there.
Overall a great place!

Awesome waterfall and fire tower. A few hills and some trails were washed out because of the rain on the weekend but absolutely worth the visit.

Had a bear and her two cubs cut across the trail in front of me today. What an awesome sight. Pic isn't that great, but didn't want her getting to nervous and doing something I wouldn't like. Cubs were in background.

Always a great walk in nature! Not much color yet though. Great place for families to learn about all the great things in the wild. There are placards spread throughout about different things, birds, beavers vernal ponds. One trail is a Tree 🌳 identification trail.

I came here for a hike on a Monday morning and was happy to see the clear signs and we'll established trail. There are a few views off the path to go and check out as well as a lot of wildlife. In fact we saw a black bear crossing the path and would recommend keeping your eyes peeled. Very nice visit despite that!

Great peaceful hike for anyone. There are multiple mini trails off of the main trail. If you’re a beginner I recommend downloading an app called All Trails before you go onto the mini trails or “cut through’s” because this will give you a real time map of where you are and it will show you all of the mini trails so you won’t get lost or confused. The entire trail is 2.6 miles without doing any extras.

I live minutes away so I know the trails intimately. The trails are great for all skill levels with miles of technical stuff. It can get soggy near streams and swamps but they dry out fairly quickly. The bonus is you have Nassahegen Recreational Complex across the street.

You are guaranteed a good workout at sessions. The 3 mile loop has some small but steep hills that help give a nice cardio and tone workout. The views are BEAUTIFUL. So many diverse birds and other species. The waterfalls are one of the best around. It's a family and dog friendly trail. Highly recommend Sessions
