Stopped in today for the first time in years. The employee working (didn't get his name but had curly red hair) was awesome, super personable, knowlagabe and helpful and overall was a really cool dude. Also I was happy to walk in an be able to see, it used to be so dark. All of the products were quality and I am happy my purchases and will definitely be back.

My favorite shop in Waterbury. Always helpful and friendly staff. Beautiful products and art. I bought a $20 grab bag for a Christmas gift, and it was so fun for my boyfriend to open! Cool stuff, Great value :)

amazing store ! i wish more people came, the woman who owns it is super nice and has amazing employees :) they have an UNBELIEVABLE glass collection, they have zippos, clipper lighters, cotton mouth killers, smell eliminators, self defense items, grinders, clothing etc! they also have amazing prices and could give you good deals if you’re loyal!! definitely give this place a chance the next time you need roll up, glassware, vapes, flavors etc!!!!!

Great family oriented little shop, always eager to support local artist, the glass is all handmade and sturdy. The artwork is extremely beautiful and eye-opening. I’ve been coming here since I was small for their beautiful handmade necklaces and self-designed clothing. They also have a poetry jam every two weeks I believe which they provide refreshments and snacks and is a safe place to share your words and thoughts with. Good prices, good people, great atmosphere

I have been all over the USA and this is hands down the best smoke shop/gallery I have been to. I love how there is art from so many of the locals including myself. They have a bit of everything, super friendly and knowledgeable.

Very nice yet unseemly from the outside because of the area.
I recommend this store every time I have the chance just because of the amount of inventory they offer. I tell people that if my employer doesn't have it, check shock and awe.
The staff are unique and helpful people. They help you get what you need and offer their best advice financially and in regards to experience

Friendly, knowledgeable staff who genuinely thrive to meet/exceed their customers’ needs. In addition to their large variety of smoking accessories, they host poetry readings on a regular basis. It’s difficult to spot their small storefront from the street but well worth the extra effort to locate and visit.

I called at 8:46 because I lost my set up, Ken was beyond nice and said he'd keep the lights on for me. I got there at 8:58 and was in & out. Ken was beyond helpful..very knowledgable and was able to make a great recommendation and alao such a nice guy. I HIGHLY recommend this shop. Ken is THE MAN!!!!! Thanks Ken!!!

Great people in this place. They support the community. Local art on display in the back of the store. Weekend activity at the park like volleyball. More than a smoke shop, they have joke gifts and clothing..they also have a large selection of stones and crystals. Many other cool things like post cards and gator heads. Go in and look around it's shocking and awesome

I've been frequenting shock and awe for many years, the owner place is great trust in the woman Cindy who works there, Cindy has worked there for many many years and is very helpful and wonderful to talk with. they have everything from hookahs and hookah tobacco to e-cigarettes and vape juice all the way up to the totally legal CBD bud and everything else you could think of, and if they don't have it they could probably get it for you. I would definitely recommend shock and awe thank you shock and awe

Great place! Amber was incredible friendly, helpful, and very knowlegeable. Displays of incredibly beautiful handmade pipes and smoking apparatus; though quite pricey. Shop was inviting, well laid out, and large selection of products.
