Absolutely love my bike! Rachel, the owner was so helpful and sweet. They offer fair prices and exceptional service. Bike even comes with a free tune up! I’ve used my bike several times since purchasing and still love it. Highly recommend!!!!

We had an excellent experience from shopping through purchase at Bloomfield Bicycle this fall. Kevin was so helpful along the way after we went by to test ride e-bikes for the first time. We bought a Maui e-bike with a Swagman 2-bike folding rack for our SUV. We knew very little about e-bikes before we visited them to shop, learn about batteries, maintenance, etc. Their customer service was essential in the investment. They were there to ensure we kept moving ahead before biking season in CT wraps up. Our first ride was a blast on the rail trails. We highly recommend you work with them for anything bike!

Took my bike here to get the tire and tube replaced they did it on the spot very quickly, great prices and I was acknowleged on the sales floor. Been coming here since I had my bikes as a kid and first place I thought of to get my bike that has been sitting serviced. Will be back.

Had trouble replacing a valve on a tubeless tire so stopped by here. They suggested just replacing the core, did it for me at no charge. Tire has a perfect seal. I will go there for all my biking needs...

Finally took the plunge to get myself a nice bike. This place is awesome. Everyone was super kind and knowledgeable, they even recommended some trails to hit now that I have a bike that is more than capable. If I ever needed work done, or if I ever want a new bike, I’m definitely coming here.

I recently had my ebike looked over due to brake issues. It was quickly diagnosed and repairs were promised within a week or so. Impressed with their professional manner and prompt response

I went in with an electric foot scooter (Ninebot/Xiaomi) that I was having trouble changing the front tire on. They helped me get the tire on and I was zipping around in the parking lot within 15 minutes.

Friendly service and they had some great electronic music playing.

The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the bicycle trade. I loved how it’s been family owned 70+ years and they are going strong even through the pandemic. The only E-bike dealer in the area that sells, services, and have trained mechanics to work on E-bikes. The brands that they carry are top notch. I will be coming back here for all my bicycle needs. I also bought a beginners bike for the wife. The selection for a beginners bikes was great had many bikes to choose from. The the E-bike I purchased was the Magnum Ranger and the wife got a Townie.

Mike assessed my needs quickly and showed me a couple of options. After two days of riding my new wheels, I am thrilled. This isn't our first experience with Bloomfield Bike - repairs on our older bikes, new helmets, etc - always first rate and honest. Large stock of bikes and quality repairs. This was my first time at Bloomfield Bicycle. They happened to carry SE Bikes and my local shop that I absolutely love, does not. I wanted to buy my stepson an SE Big Flyer for his birthday and this shop came up as an authorized retailer. I happened to be working close by so I went to take a look. It felt wrong going to a different shop to buy a bike and I’ll tell you why. I fell in love with Bicycles at 8 years old. Nearly 40 years later, I still love bikes. The owner of my local shop sold me my first tube at 8 years old and is still there every time I walk in that shop. I LOVE that!

I walked through the door of Bloomfield Bicycle and it was immediately obvious these nice people have been working there a long time. I asked how long they’ve been in business and the woman told me 70 years! It makes me really happy to know the people of Bloomfield get to enjoy a great family owned shop like the one I’ve grown up with. It’s truly a special place. Now I don’t feel guilty about cheating on my local shop. Now I have a 2nd shop I feel great about supporting! Thank you!

If I could give them 20 stars, I would. I have never seen such wonderful customer service, that is genuine. Each and every staff member went out of their way to help us. We went in for 2 e -bikes. The problem was fitting me with an e bike. I am very petite, and all the e bikes were too big for me. They came up with a solution, to have me pick out any smaller, regular bike, and they would customize it to fit me and turn it into an e bike. They were all so helpful. They went above and beyond to fit me to a bike.

My husband and I decided to buy each other e-bikes for our coming birthdays. After doing some research, we knew we wanted to go somewhere that had bikes in stock so that we could test drive, etc. before buying. We did not want to order online. We discovered that Bloomfield Bicycle had a good selection in stock (more than any other place we could find in the area), so we went there. The friendly customer service provided by Rachel and Mickey was excellent. They recommended two different models that suit our needs and let us test drive them both. When we both decided on the second model, we were happy that they had two in stock. They answered all our questions and helped us choose the right accessories. They installed the rearview mirrors we purchased and made sure each bike was clean and ready to go. At no point were they pushy and it never felt like they were trying to upsell. We couldn't be more pleased with the experience and with our new bikes!

This store is amazing! All I knew when I went was I wanted an E-bike. Rachel gave so much information I had to go home and think about it. When I came back we tested many bikes to help find the right one for ME, not just a sale! I will forever be a customer and friend!!!

Great service, highly competent, experienced staff. Great family business. I wouldn't go anywhere else! Bloomfield Bike is a great shop. Mike and Rachael are incredible, helpful, friendly, and fair. I have had my old Specialized bike serviced there for years, ands this week purchased a new electric bike Biria electric bike. The folks at Bloomfield are very customer focused and want you to make the best choice for you, not the most expensive. I trust them and have had nothing but great support over the years.

Yes, I was upsold on accessories, but they were all worth it.Each of them were professionally installed while I was there.

They have an impressive inventory of both new and used bikes.You may pay a little more than you would if you were to order a bike online (that you will need to assemble), but the return on investment far exceeds any "savings".

This is a well-established business run by cycling aficionados who understand and appreciate their clients.
