From start to finish, we had a lovely experience here. Service was stellar and the food was divine! Who puts strawberries and beets together? Who thinks of that? They do. And it was worth the hike out to Simsbury! Serene atmosphere, unpretentious. Staff were attentive and quite pleasant. Drinks were delicious. But the star of the show was the food! Everything we ate was divine! I highly recommend this place. The menu rotates, so it’s worth multiple trips. Everything was fresh and full of flavor! We were a party of 2 and split everything. Thank you for a great experience!

The food was heavenly. Three divine courses. I had a beet dish with a goat cheese sauce. I used my spoon to scrape the sauce off my plate. My main course was salmon over coconut black rice with a pesto sauce underneath. I chose a pistachio puff for dessert, with small swirls of whip cream. Outstanding service. I sat outside on the porch, surrounded by green grass, with birds flying above. Heartily recommend.

Every item we ordered was fantastic-lots of gluten-free choices. I was there for my birthday, and they gave me a small vase of flowers to take home. They split my sister‘s dessert and put a candle in mine so we could celebrate together. The service was attentive and discreet. The atmosphere was beautiful.

We had our daughter-in-law's wedding shower at Metro Bis. It was absolutely perfect. Courtney and her staff were so helpful, personable and professional. The food was absolutely delicious, and everyone loved it. The venue was beautifully decorated, spacious and had a magnificent joyful feeling. Quite the tucked away gem in the heart of Simsbury! The entrance porch is pure old world charm. Cute patio and the various dining areas inside are beautifully done. The servers are very attentive but hardly seen.
Pricey, but their recipes are delectable! The food combinations were very creative! Loved that there are many options for anyone with specific dietary preferences.

We had the best time here today celebrating the Mothers day holiday with the whole family. I was a bit apprehensive with 3 small children but we were put in a special room to accomodate all of us. Everything was well thought out, making us feel relaxed and comfortable so that we had a wonderful stress free lunch. Definitely we will be coming back to celebrate more holidays in the future!

Delicious food, friendly staff in a beautiful setting. What more could you ask for? Definitely try the bread with hummus, eggplant and olive oil for dipping. Alex D was my waiter and he was pleasant and knowledgeable. He was super friendly and always at the ready with a suggestion when asked. The lunch menu is a 3 course prix fixe, with additional "sharables" options(around $10) I chose the beet and goat cheese salad, followed by the flat iron steak and tried the blueberry cake with landmass cream for dessert. Everything was outstanding, and there was more than enough food for me! There were the perfect "little touches" everywhere, like fresh flowers in the bathroom. I left with a gift card because I know the couple I purchased it for will love it too. While you're in the area, check out flower bridge only a mile or less away

The restaurant is beautiful with classic and elegant decor.
The menu was prefix and we liked the choices available.
My daughter really enjoyed the coq au vin!
We picked the right restaurant for this special time together.

Delicious dinner at Metro Bis. We ate outside under the pretty lights and enjoyed the pre-set four course meal - every course was perfect, no complaints. Highly recommend the crab cakes and tenderloin. If you're in the area, definitely check it out!

Where do I begin? We have been going to Metro Bis since the book "Wife of a Chef". This location is absolutely the best in the Valley if you want great service and a menu that offers so many delicious choices for the hard to please, this is the place. Private rooms for parties/ meetings large and small that are beautiful not cold and sterile looking and feeling. If you have out of town guests that want a place to stay and not at the Simsbury Inn or Residence Inn, this is the place. We had the brussel sprouts for an app, Maryland crab cake and short ribs for our dinners, dark chocolate and the coconut dessert that when I return I'll order that for my app and dessert. Everyone took a sip from my basil infused Vodka cocktail and then they ordered their own. It was delicious! A must!

Went here for valentines day dinner. There was a prix fixed menu. We had the swordfish and the salmon. Both were delicious. The dessert was amazing too. But what really took me by (a pleasant) surprise was the seafood salad. The ambience is quiet. I would highly recommend this if you're looking for an intimate dinner.

Amazing food. Lovely atmosphere. The staff is excellent. If you really want to impress a date or have just a wonderfully tasty meal this is the place to go. It is like something out of a movie. Next level dining.

Outside dining with price fixed menu. same great food! first time eating out since Mid march and I felt comfortable with their social distancing accommodations. great meal!!

We had our wedding here this weekend and we could not have picked a more perfect place. Courtney was absolutely amazing to work with. She was very attentive and accommodating. She coordinated everything and made sure everything ran smoothly. The staff were so nice and helpful. Lunch was also delicious. Thank you!!

Came for happy hour and loved the apps and drinks! The Bartender was super nice - it got pretty busy so we were glad we got there on the earlier side on a Friday evening!

Most delicious Short Rib I’ve ever tasted. The meat was so tender I didn’t even need to use a knife to cut it. “This is the way Short Rib should be made.” And I was pleasantly surprised I enjoyed the vegan & gluten free coconut cashew “cheesecake” (I’m not Vegan).

Wonderfully prepared food, everything was very tasty and well prepared and presented, would go again in a heatbeat.

Food is chef quality and the service is exceptionally friendly. Not to mention a beautiful setting. Highly recommended!

Fantastic meal. Everything tasted great... from the fried tortellini to the beef tenderloin! The old building provided a beautiful setting.
