Michael Morin of CT Appliance did an outstanding job for us. From start to finish of guiding us to select our kitchen and laundry appliance package, his commitment to detail was exceptional. His responsiveness to follow-up questions was remarkable. His communications with us were very timely and transparent. The amount of time and effort he put into providing options and pros and cons for the various products was exceptional. Having to choose appliances for our new home seemed at first to be a daunting task, but Michael was kind, informative and honest which reassured us that we made the right choices for our needs. CT Appliance’s pricing was reasonable and competitive, but Michael’s product knowledge is what made the difference for us. No way would you get the detail and time from the big box stores. Our experience with CT Appliance exceeded our expectations.

This place is amazing! They have a huge selection of fireplace and kitchens to walk through, two floors. It was heavenly.
Rich was fantastic walking us through the options and answering questions. He is so patient and knowledgeable and his staff was friendly and helpful as well. This place will have you so excited about numerous options for your home. They have an entire room with all the catalogs organized so they bring you out the options of any brand or customized piece to see what is available. Highly recommend!

I ordered a refridge from CAFD about 5 months ago. We have been having a lot of issues with it while the company came to do warranty repair. CAFD delivered a loaner fridge while we waited for the company to fix.

John Gillotti was so amazing to work with. He helped me pick out my appliances for my dream kitchen, as well as a fireplace. He was friendly, easy to communicate with, and reliable. John was thorough and patient as he explained all options and researched all prices. He even called and emailed me 6 months later to remind me about a $500 rebate and gave all the required information to apply for it. He helped every step of the way and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Delivery and installation were also exceptional. I will not go anywhere else.

After being ghosted by another distributor, I was referred to CAFD by a contractor friend. Scott was super responsive and easy to work with. I sent him dimensions for my hearth and he recommended 3 models for me to chose from. The insert showed up at CAFD within a week (as mentioned by Scott). He referred me to an install company who knocked it out of the park as well. Life long customer here after such a GREAT experience.

We just bought a refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, washer and dryer from these fine folks and they did a great job with us all the way. This was a no pressure, informative and educational experience. Never once did I feel as though we were being directed or influenced in any way. Always, this was professional from start to finish.

The items were delivered as scheduled and the installation was handled in a clean and professional manner. We would absolutely purchase appliances here again and will very likely upgrade our fireplace through CAFD in the future.

I particularly appreciated the professional qualities of Danica. She knew her product well and was well versed on all accounts. She was pleasant and responsive.

I give CAFD a 5 star rating and especially Tom who helped with my new appliance sale. There was no high pressured sales, he listened to what I needed and helped me make the right decision. He found me the right appliances that would fit my needs and budget. Tom kept me updated on the status of my order and got them in very quick. He also informed me about their financing, in which it helped me a lot. I highly recommend, thank you to Tom as well.

The sales person, Danica Caruso, was patient, pleasant, and very knowledgeable! She explained all of the various refrigerator options /features and answered every question. She left us with a very favorable impression and helped us to have a very positive experience! We look forward to working with Danica again!

The delivery personnel (Tom and Jose) were excellent! They were very neat and careful with the wood floors, and furniture. They showed up on time and took their time to be sure that the installation was done properly.

Kudos to John Gillotti. He is knowledgeable and helped us in our purchase of our kitchen appliances. Unfortunately, due to COVID and production/delivery issues that ensued, some of our appliances were delayed. John promptly replied to all of my emails and phone calls to keep us updated on the status of our deliveries (which is rare these days). He is professional and an asset to the company. I would recommend this company because of the friendly, prompt service that you receive.

This was my first experience buying an appliance at CAFD. Danica was very helpful throughout the process. She kept in communication with me, returned calls/emails and answered my questions which was important to me since I was replacing a 4 year old refrigerator that was deemed not repairable. The experience was so positive that a few weeks later I decided to buy a dishwasher to replace my current 20 year old model. Danica was again very helpful with the selection process. I highly recommend her when considering purchasing a new appliance.

We had a wonderful experience purchasing a new stove and microwave. Tom Gargano is a great salesperson with a lot of knowledge and made this a very easy transaction. The prices we were given beat out the big box stores as well. We will be using them in the future for any appliance needs.

My salesperson at CAFD was Tom Gaetani. He was very knowledgeable about all the appliances that the store sold and was honest about possible delays on delivery from the manufacturer. It was four months from the time I purchased my stove to the delivery date. During that time, Tom always kept me updated on the progress of my order. He promptly called me once the stove arrived and arranged a quick delivery date.
I would definitely want Tom as my salesperson again when buying another appliance and would not hesitate to recommend him to other buyers.

We were very happy with the experience at CAFD during our kitchen renovation project. Both Danica and Scott were very patient with us throughout the process, as we had many questions & took quite a long time to finally make some decisions!

We were able to delay out delivery a few times (at our request) and when delivery was made, it was on time and took less than 10 minutes....no issues or complaints at all.

I cannot imagine having made this major kitchen appliance purchase without the help of professionals, to assist with both the questions on the appliances & design of the kitchen; it makes it so much easier when working with people that know what they're doing! Thanks for everything!

The total experience was excellent. Since the refrigerator which we had to replace failed failed without warning we had to get a replacement quickly. Luckily we received our new refrigerator sooner than originally promised that is an added plus to our experience with Connecticut Appliance. The delivery men were neat, , orderly, polite, efficient and installed the new refrigerator very quickly and immediately had it fully operating. We highly recommend Connecticut Appliance and we are repeat customers.

What a pleasant surprise it was to discover this amazing appliance store! We were outfitting a remodeled kitchen and they were able to get us all five of the appliances in the finish we wanted despite covid and all the supply chain issues. We had checked with half a dozen big box stores and appliance stores between Fairfield and New Haven counties and were told it would be virtually impossible to buy what we wanted unless we waited a year or more. We were lucky enough to meet Kathy D. as our knowledgeable and optimistic sales person at CAFD, and she assured that nothing would be a problem for her to obtain for us. Prices were great and delivery was professional. Kathy kept us in the loop throughout the process so we always had an idea when our appliances would be delivered. We would highly recommend CAFD and asking for Kathy D. if you are in the market for appliances!

From the moment we walked into the building, the staff was attentive to our questions without applying sales pressure. Scheduling and financing were very straight-forward. The measurement process was enjoyable (staff member very personable) and the installation of our pellet stove went very smoothly - the installers went over everything we needed to know and was done quickly, thoroughly, and cleanly. We are enjoying our nice warm stove I comfort knowing CAFD is available for us if we have further questions based on the support they’ve shown during and since install.

I purchased a dual fuel range, a vent hood and a drawer microwave. I LOVE my appliances! They are beautiful and CAFD delivered and installed them, it was by far the easiest purchase I made all year. Bob Fedora was the salesman who helped me and I cannot say enough good things him. Bob was knowledgeable about the appliances and kept me on my budget while still getting exactly what I wanted. Bob was patient and answered all my questions. I have also purchased a gas fireplace, I won't shop anyplace else I have my eye on a new dishwasher and there's no doubt when I'm ready I'll go see Bob at CAFD.

As we finish up our kitchen remodel, we had a great experience using Danica! She was excellent assisting us with all of our questions, guiding us with the appliances to fit our design. We have been working with her for many years. Recommend her assistance.

Jason and Danica have helped us buy every appliance for our new construction home. Not only did they work to give us the most competitive pricing, but they have been readily available for questions throughout the building process. Connecticut Appliance and Fireplace has zero integrity and ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE! John Gillotti (the appliance Manager & Chantal Warner the Fireplace manager) are both unprofessional and have no interest in helping customers once a sale is made & they receive payment for the products THEY SELL!

I want to update my review here everyone. I believe we all can have experiences we're not exactly happy with but in fairness, if a business owner then reaches out to you and is as genuinely disappointed as you were, bends over backward and shares he's going to rectify your issue and does beyond your expectations! then you must give the public this info in an honest review.

Mr. Sisto Salzillo, owner of CAFD, made things right for my family. I am now a very satisfied customer and frankly, as long as this guy owns this store, we will be lifelong customers for it's appliances and gas fireplace services & materials. I've upgraded my original disappointed 1-star review to a very satisfied 5-star review! Thank you Mr. Saltillo.
