The service at this bike shop goes beyond the extra mile. When it comes to outstanding human being, they are at 97 Park Street in Hartford. The mechanics on staff are well seasoned. They know bikes inside out.They're all
willing to help at a moment's notice and when it comes to being polite yes they all deserve a trophy. Their shop is super clean, neat and well stocked with updated tools and their parts supply is up-to-date. It's the bike shop we all have always wish for.

I came here to see what was being offered for used bikes, not a huge selection, pricing was higher than expected, but I assume these bikes have all been repaired, tuned and cleaned to near perfection and that the prices are worth it vs someone's forgotten neglected bike from "storage" you might find online. A tune up alone, at most shops will cost nearly as much as one of BiCiCo's used bikes. I found one I'm interested in, but I wasn't prepared to spend. Later I came back with a neighbor's bike that needed air in the tires. The shop was happy to let me use their pump. I am definitely coming back when I am ready to buy. My third visit I found more bikes for sale than I previously knew about. I highly recommend checking out their selection before buying at some other high price shop

The BiCiCo guys are great. They do a fantastic job at a reasonable price and are providing a really important service for the community!

Props to the store for quick repairs on my bike twice now. First time, the back tire and/or tubing went but the tread was also bad so a replacement was needed either way. I got a proper replacement and it was installed within a few minutes to then head on out.

Second time? The seat broke on one of the clamps that holds it in. They let me walk into the back where their used seat stock was for a replacement. Wouldn't you know it...I found the EXACT same seat in their stock! Another few minutes of a repair and back on my way.

For what they charge being a nonprofit, it's really about as low as you can go short of the other way, of course: ordering parts elsewhere, waiting to come in, then do it yourself. This is the next best way and they also have some bikes for sale at reasonable prices, given that they are all fixed and tuned up nice & properly before.

This place is awesome! Prices are extremely reasonable, the staff is all very knowledgeable, friendly, and they take COVID precautions seriously. I've always had an awesome experience there. Think about becoming a member for a day or a year! They have different levels with parts discounts, free tune-ups, etc but they all include once-a-week time when you can come and use the tools to work on your own bike! There are mechanics to answer questions as well.

All the profit goes back into improving the shop and to the community since they are only one part of the larger Center for Latino Progress that also includes Transport Hartford advocating for better transit, biking, & pedestrian access in the Hartford region.

I hope the West Hartford shop is still in the cards to expand clientele and have a larger space!

Great bike shop. I purchased an older road bike for commuting and it was in excellent shape. All the components were replaced and it was a very reasonable price. I also brought my girlfriend’s bike there for a tune up and once again they did a great job. Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. In addition, profits go toward youth biking in Hartford. I would highly recommend.

Great service. Knowledgeable, honest. I needed a road bike for my 12 year old son. Not easy to find a small men’s, but they had one. Described it on the phone exactly as I saw it and gave great tips for an upcoming trip and suggestions for a local venture. Good price and great service.

A great nonprofit community bike shop. I got a bike tune-up here and had a flat changed. Everyone is friendly. Staff or intern teens from the neighborhood work will on your bike or you can come to a workshop and learn to fix your bike on your own.

The customer service was outstanding! I bought my first road bike from BiCi Co., and I'm loving my beautiful Gitane. The services and products that are offered are exceptional. I'll definitely be returning for more stuff!

Any time I've needed a part and/or some advice BiCi Co has been able to help. Prices might not always be as cheap as what you can find online, but you can't beat in person advice from skilled mechanics, a good selection of used parts, and knowing where your money is going. BiCi Co is a genuine community asset.

Fast, professional, friendly and efficient

Well organized shop. Have parts' bicycles repairing even get his membership and can do self repairing your bicycle to learn and save more money. My experience was good.

Love that they're not just knowledgeable but are also friendly and effective teachers. Good prices on bike components as well.

This program for our youth is outstanding in the city of Hartford. Pure positivity and very educational for our youth whom participate trick bike riding. I encourage more parents of the bikelife riders throughout the city to get envolved. This my "BIKELIFE" ers 2nd year in participation. It's also a possibility he may end up employed by the programs summer youth program as well. This is definitely a tell a friend to tell a friend community organization.
