Rein's Deli

If you're looking for a New York style deli outside of NYC, this place is it.

It's been excellent for years and is still amazing. Service and ambiance are top-notch.

Great corned beef and pastrami. Free half sour pickles on arrival are always a nice touch, too.

We stopped on the way at around 3 p.m., and it was good timing. We didn't have to wait, but the place was packed. We ordered quickly, and everyone was happy with their food, tuna melt, nova lox on pumper nickel bagel, chili, Mac, and cheese. The pickles, on the house, were to die for. Our server Kai was very attentive and efficient. Overall, 👍

A must stop for travelers seeking delicious NY deli. If you're far away from NYC, then this is a good restaurant to try Corned Beef, a Reuben sandwich and Pickles (of course!).

I had open faced Turkey + Roast Beef sandwich which was very good.

Everything is great. The sandwiches are huge and filling, the bagels taste fresh from the oven, and the dining room is nice and large. Their homemade pickles are unforgettable. This place has been here for so long that every time I walk through the front door, I feel like I’m coming home.

Great place! Unique items alongside the traditional finds. You can sit downtown at the countertop area or get seated by the host. The deli counter has countless items to choose from, and there's a classy bar in the back for some adult beverages!

It's like a time warp to going to Brooklyn, NY, with my mom and having the lox and bagel of my dreams. Sublime

Good place to go to eat. Great food, the atmosphere has a good vibe. Having the 5 boroughs from New York gives it a home feeling. The waitresses there are on point, especially Renee. Would recommend!

I hadn't been to Rein's in a while, so it was awesome to stop in on 04/02/2023. Staff seated us right away. As we looked over the menu, stre-made while pickles arrived at the table. These are so much better than any jarred pickles I've tried. Our order was taken as soon as we were ready.

I opted for the steamed (warm) beef brisket and a side of sweet potato fries. Both items were great. The meats are served on your choice of breads with lettuce, onions, and tomatoes. Note: gluten free bread is available for an extra fee; I requested mine without bread.

My co-diner got the potato pancakes, which are served with applesauce. Gravy can be ordered for the side, if you prefer savory over sweet toppings. The pancakes were dense and a bit bland, but filling.

I enjoyed the brisket so much that I got some sliced at the counter to take home.

The also have many other temping sweets and treats on the way to the counter. Most items are made fresh in the restaurant.

Love all the NYC oriented signs and features. I had the Corned Beef Rachel (Rachel is a Reuben but with cole slaw instead of sauerkraut.). Delicious, not too fatty, and big enough to take home. I also took home some of their lime meringues and their awesome Lox Cream Cheese. Also, I inadvertently left a jacket on the back of a chair there on Monday. I called Tuesday and asked if they could send it back to me. They were very accommodating and agreed to send it back for the price of postage. Much to my surprise, it arrived home the next day. Above and beyond the call of duty! Great job Rein's.

My husband's family has been coming here for years and I was finally able to see it for myself! We were driving through and stopped for lunch! The Matzo ball soup, Reuben's, and knish were incredible! I also ordered takeout from the counter so we could bring home some bagels, rugelachs, and cookies!

Every couple of months, I have lunch with a friend at Rein’s because it is halfway between where I live and where my friend lives. The food is excellent and the service is great.
A few months ago, we had our lunch and Mandee was our server. She was friendly and took care of us. When we returned yesterday, Mandee again took care of us AND she remembered us. It was amazing that she remembered two people who are not regulars especially with the amount of customers at Rein’s. Thank you, Mandee and Rein’s.

I got the Rueben sandwich. The best deli on our way to NYC!

We drove by the sign on I 84 for years. Finally stopped in. Well worth getting off the interstate for. Great sandwiches and deli. We bought a bunch of things we miss from Brooklyn that we can't find in New Hampshire.

Love this place, we stop here every trip we make to Maine from Virginia. Happened upon it by accident many years ago. Service and food is superb. Can't go wrong w any fresh deli sandwich w top quality meats, they have a small bar, fantastic deserts, and many food items you can purchase from the fridge, freezer or shelves. You feel like you are enveloped in a NY city deli. I highly recommend as a great lunch stop.

Since we left FL and moved West of the CT River into Western MA, we’re always looking for a REAL Jewish Deli. The others, near us and around Northampton, seem to be lacking. NOT Rein’s. They’re right out of NYC and the REAL THING!!!
I can’t wait to sink my teeth into the Pastrami Sandwich I ordered. Just eating the 1/2 sour pickles they brought to the table, we know it’s gonna be GREAT!!!!
They’re also VERY Patriotic and encourage Civility - while protecting their employees while they educate the public back to CIVILITY

Overall a good place. Right on the way between Boston and NYC. Very family oriented with standard diner food fare. The pastrami sandwich is where it’s at if you go. The staff was friendly, the restaurant is large with a nice family friendly atmosphere. Overall a good place, and I would dine here again.

Made a stop on our drive from NYC to Maine. It was busy but we were able to snag a counter seat pretty easily. The pickles are incredible, but so was the Reuben!

Stopped here on a recommendation from a friend while in CT for a little league game. We got a pastrami Rachel and a tuna salad sandwich. Both were absolutely amazing! Plus the best half sour pickle I've ever had.

Service was super. You can tell the staff have been trained to be very kind and attentive. Can't beat the cornbeef sandwich and I was so happy to find out I could order a cup of chicken soup and 1/2 a sandwich. I can't eat such big portions and I hate wasting food, so thank you for providing options for smaller servings.
