I just went to pay my taxes, the lady just took it upon herself to charge my card extra for using a debt card. Why wouldn't she of told me this prior to doing so... I had my check book with me as well as cash. Nobody should just take it upon themselves to charge your card more than the bill reflects without letting you know it is going to cost extra if you use your card. It was only a few dollars it's just the point this should definitely be communicated and since it wasn't it should be removed.
I called to ask her about it she replied I just assumed you knew, they should never assume. I did know it cost a few dollars extra to pay it online and is why I made the time to drive there today to pay it in person.
