The best sandwiches and best customer service in Hartford...Curt and his fellow staff members are artists in creating the best grinders whether hot or cold.
I recommend this deli to anyone I see. It makes Subway look like a bunch of amateurs. Try this deli once and you'll never go anywhere else.

Went last night. I do not have high expectations about shawarma, but do enjoy them. Was very happy with the chicken wrap and platter. The cook/cashier/clerk had wonderful customer service. Wish I would have taken photos of the food, but remembered only after I devoured the food. Would definitely return if I ever go back to Hartford.

Local Creamery and Deli! My one-stop-shop for lunch and dinner! The sandwiches always hit and I greatly enjoy the conversation with the kind, friendly cooks and staff! 5/5 would recommend!

The Grinders and Potato Salad are Amazing! I intend to try all of them by the end of the year! "The Hartford" grinder was sooo yummy and fresh! It's so cool to have a BANGIN grinder named after my hometown! The employees, Ray are very helpful and nice! This week I had a Ruben! It was sooo good! The corn beef melts in your mouth and the grinder roll is so incredible!! Whoever made the potato salad is invited to the cookout! :-)

Went there for THE HORIZON grinder. It was AMAZING. Curt really knows customer service. An amazing place to grab a bite and snacks. Looking forward to my next visit.

"Plan A" was Plan b Burger Bar in Hartford: Closed. Tried City Steam: Closed due to burst pipe. Met a guy on the street who recommended Local Creamery & Deli. Got a delicious burger at a decent price! Great, friendly service. I think I have a new go-to place when downtown!

Curtis made me a fire sandwich. 10/10 would recommend

This place may not look like much from the street, but step inside and they pack a phenomenal selection into this space.

Amazing icecreme. Superb food. A bunch of off the shelf options. I was just looking for icecreme in down town Hartford on a Sunday while on a business trip. I stumbled upon a true find.

Serious hidden diamond here. Will definitely be a patron any time in in Hartford.

Love this place! Visited for breakfast and lunch. Had the omelette breakfast and a massive salad, both absolutely delicious and a great price.
Ray and his crew are so friendly and offer exceptional service. So happy I came across this hidden gem. Will be back anytime I’m in Hartford!

The grinders are fresh and it is on point. Chicken over rice is very tasty. The price is also reasonable. Went there couple of times already and it never disappoints. The owner is so nice and sweet.

I've been going there since the week the store opened.

they're FRESHLY MADE GRINDERS,WRAPS, AND SANDWICHES, ARE THE BOMB!!!! BEST I EVER HAD!!!!!!

The prices are moderate, but I'm telling you they're worth every penny!!
I've eaten at a lot of grinder,and sandwich shops,Italian, subway, and just about any you can think of,and this place puts them all to shame!!!
And they also serve locally farm made ice cream that will also surprise you how good,and delicious it is!
They have a salted caramel (my fav.) Thats great!, and another one called strawberry cheese cake, that they never can keep in the store!!(sooo good!!)
They also sell a lot of kosher ethnic delicacies as well. None of which have I tried,but definetly will sometime!
They also make fresh hamburgers,breakfast sandwiches, and a KILLER STEAK AND CHEESE GRINDER!!!
You can get just about anything you want on your sandwich,and you can also have your sandwich made on a wrap,a roll,grinder roll, even a pita too! You can even get a grill cheese!!
So if you're ever downtown, and want something different and delicious?
DEFINETLY SWING IN THERE! TELL THEM PAT SENT YOU!, now you guys know my secret place!!!

Walking through downtown with a pregnant starving wife who needed an egg sandwich. After a miles search finally found the nicest guy behind the counter I’ve ever met. Laith, was for a lack of a better word a god send that made us unreal sandwiches and second to none hospitality. Asked him for his favorite sandwich and it is now my favorite sandwich’s Please promote or appreciate this guy for all he does.

Very nice employees. Store was very clean. I got an “Asylum” sandwich and it was great. Huge sandwich. It was very filling and served on great bread. The roast beef was nice and rare. Prices are reasonable.

TRY THERE PHILLY CHEESE STEAKS BEST DELI IN CT , amazing service , cool workers , and even gives free drinks when outside is hot .

I would definitely recommend this place for hygienic food in downtown. Better than their peers in local.
