Food is terrific! I was there for a personal party. Service is excellent! The places very family friendly during the day. The place also has a pub like bar gorgeous with occasional evening entertainment.

Food is amazing. Service is top notch, Megan is the best, always on point. Atmosphere is inviting and other customers are fun and entertaining as well.

Stopped at the Blue Plate Tavern the other night. What a Great Place! Very, very clean! Courteous and friendly staff. Creative, tasty, reasonable tavern-fare, with numerous daily specials, and killer seasoned French fries. Drinks are reasonable, ample and fairly priced, while beer is always ice cold. They also cover all the bases with things to do: karaoke, darts, pool table. etc. The Blue Plate is Plainville's version of "Cheers", where everyone knows your name. I love this place, it's what a Tavern should be! Drop by, I'm sure you'll like it!

The dirt wings are fireee... great alternative to JTims if you wanna pay half the price but stay in the same area

I met a group of my old friends here. The staff was very accommodating and friendly.
The young lady that took our orders was great. She was very busy but always kept a smile on her face. The food came out quickly. All 8 of us got our food at the same time and everything was very good and prepared exactly the way we asked for it.
What a great little neighborhood bar.

Just tried last week for the first time. I'm allergic to soy, nuts, and peanuts and they accommodated me. The chef and waitress were knowledgeable and very nice. The wings are the best I've ever had. The honey garlic parmesan wings were out of this world. Crispy, not soggy, and have no replaced J Timothy's as my favorite wings. Praying they're here for a long time!

Nice atmosphere, good beer and perfect place to play billiard! Recommended

The food was very good, the music wasn't too loud. The pool table was well maintained. The bartender was very polite and made my drinks perfectly. The kitchen staff that made my food did so very quickly, and it came out hot and delicious. The burger was amazing and si were the wings!

Just finished eating at the Blue Plate and I'm really impressed! Brought my parents and my son for lunch. The burger was cooked perfectly. Swiss cheese and caramelized onion ordered rare and it really did come out rare without being raw! Onion pedals way better than onion rings with the chefs own made sauce. Bartender was only person working other than the chef and she was attentive, quick and personable with everyone there. The chef even came out to ask how the food was! You don't even see that in big restaurants! Love this place.

The food is ok, but the people are really nice

Great food, awesome prices, very friendly staff. Beers were only $2.75 during happy hour and shots were $4.50. Cheapest beers in the area! The live bands on Saturdays are always amazing!

Everything was wonderful the food the drinks except the bartender who refused to good-looking gentleman who were looking very well behaved the bartender refused to serve them a shot. One of the face turns who was sitting next to me said that it was his first time there and did not know why he was being treated that way one out of town I give this place a 74 quality and a three for service

Great Food, Great people, and the Drinks aren't crazy expensive. I would recommend this place over the bigger bars in town because you get treated like a person instead of just another customer.

Food is great, very good selection of beers and nice atmosphere. The owner was there. We got to meet him. Very nice guy. Used to own Starstruck in Plainville

Local laid-back dive bar. Food and service are usually good, but not all the time. Kind of a "regulars" joint, but worth a stop for a lunch as well.

Back in the day when things were real this was my first place to have a beer. 50 years and running. Marlin Rockwell. Northeast riggers. G an D Construction. Those were some good times. Make your own.

Great place was on my way to my friends and just stopped by for a beer and a hot dog. Everyone was nice food was great! Its a must stop.

Fun easy laid back neighborhood bar with smiling bartenders and cheap but decent pub food. A great place to catch a game
