Oh what a beautiful Funeral Home with the most caring staff. 💖💖 They took such sweet care of our mother after her passing. They took care of every detail with professional support and guidance. As we all know, a funeral is a tough thing for all of us, especially the planning of the funeral of a loved one. Jodi was very helpful in helping us to say good bye to Mom. Jodi helped us decide what we wanted to do without steering us into something we definitely didn't want. We got all our thoughts together collectively and had a very nice, quiet agenda. Thank you to all of you at Bailey Funeral Home for taking time to listen to us, the family and for being available during the arrangements on the day of to help with the comfort of our guests.

Bailey's Funeral Home and their staff went out of their way to ensure that there was compassionate care for my brother in his moment of passing. They helped us put together a fitting celebration of life which helped in the grieving process. They even checked in with us in the weeks that followed the funeral service. My father, a veteran of WWII and engineer, passed away in 1988 and Bailey Funeral Home of Plainville CT. handled the cremation and memorial service. My father's long sickness and eventual death left my mother in serious financial condition and she was unable to pay the funeral home. Years passed without the family knowing the disposition of my father's ashes, with all assuming they had been disposed of long ago.

A couple weeks ago I received an email from the current Funeral Director Jodie Vogt offering to return the ashes to the family with no financial obligation at all. I was amazed that Bailey Funeral Home had retained the ashes for 34 years where, by law, they were entitled to discard them many years ago. When I spoke with Jodie while picking up the ashes she explained that my father's were just one of 20 she is trying to find the families to return them to.

The sensitivity for family survivors to help bring closure to the loss of loved ones is a testament to Jodie and the owner of Bailey Funeral Home Matt Bailey. I speak for my entire family extending heartfelt gratitude for this beautiful gesture of goodwill, especially given that there was no law or requirement to carry out this kind act.

Bailey Funeral owner and staff are very professional and caring. They kept me informed about the process and what to expect. They checked on me to see how I was handling my grief. I especially like that Bailey's is once again a family owned business.

The entire process was handled professionally. This is such a hard and sad time and can be very confusing. Matt spend hours with us helping us pick everything out and explained each step to us.
