Sliders Grill & Bar - Plainville, CT

Very tasty. Definitely bar food that does the trick. Nothing good or bad stands out which makes this place a win for looking for something reliable.

After my Aunts Funeral service, all of the cousins met up at Sliders Bar & Grill. We had a really nice waitress who was kind and patient as she kept up with all 15 us! She set up a few tables so we could all eat together. We enjoyed tasty food and drinks while sharing memories of my aunt. We got really loud at times with laughter, but it was all good there because no one said anything about it. We all talked about that a few days later. We did appreciate that they let us let our hair down, so to speak after having such an emotional day.

I was so sad when the Sliders in T-Town closed, so we stopped here to enjoy their delicious wings. My favorite were the Truffle Buffalo, I can eat truffle on basically anything. My son loves the General Tso's. So many flavors to choose from & of course with or without bones. I didn't get pictures as the Fried Oreos didn't last quick enough for me to take any. They are the BEST I've ever head, even if you don't have room for desert, you need to get them. Also, if you love Mexican Street Corn like myself, they have them as appetizers where they are fried up with bread crumbs & served to eat as "bites" with your hands.

If it’s Friday, we’re at Sliders. Sometimes it’s just the two of us, my husband, and I, other times it’s a large group looking to let off steam after a long week. Our server is almost always Shannon, she knows us by name, she knows where we like to sit, and she knows what our first round is. The food is pub, comfort food and there’s a huge variety for whatever mood we’re in. And have I mentioned Keno? We love it all!

Great wings, I got the sweet chili which were a little too spicy for my liking and my hunny got the peanut butter and jelly wings with fluff dipping sauce. They were AMAZING. Would def get the peanut butter jelly wings next time. Surprised how good they were.

the 5 stars is relative; its gd for what it is, n ppl r chill n stuff so thats all nice & grateful /appreciative of them... just gotta expect that the kinda place/food is gonna b cheap is all..but was def decent for what it was, no complaints/mistakes, food was hot & 2order...

Good wings, lots of flavor options. The wings are usually fairly large. We were served small wings once, complained, and the manager made it right. Had we not been regular customers at the time, we would not have known better, and probably would have never been back. Consistency is key.
Since opening other branches and gaining popularity over the years, I feel the wings have gotten a little pricey.
The wife and I used to go here more often as we enjoyed playing the trivia games while eating, but that is no longer available.
Another downer was coming here (Plainville) with a buddy and seeing the police waiting outside and pulling people over as they left. Sort of like shooting fish in a barrel... We had one drink that night and left. When a police officer sees you leave a bar and asks; Have you been drinking? Not a good scene. We didn't want nor need the hassle. Perhaps Sliders should donate to the policemen’s ball…
Still, a good menu, with good selection. Not too shabby. This location is the original one.

I always love the wings from here. Get the flaming raspberry with blue cheese to dip. You won't be disappointed.

These are the best wings in the world. I've been to the Anchor Bar and several places in Buffalo and many places all over the country. Still nothing beats the ORIGINAL SLIDERS. Am not as impressed with the other sliders but Plainville is the original.

A great place to get wings. They have a good varied menu of food and drink. They have several
T. V.'s if you go when there is a game on you can sit almost anywhere and see a t. v.
The Cobb salad is a good choice. It is delicious and large. The BLT is another good choice and of course one of the many different wings they offer. They have bar seating, high tables and regular tables. The service was good and the waiter was very friendly and patient.

The food was very good BUT the service was beyond excellent
Ther were 4 adults and 4 teenagers and quite a bit if food and drinks..our gut was perfect

Great service amazing food.
Today I brought my kids with me, and I have to say Lauren was amazing she was very fast and kept my kids busy she made sure food came out quick always checking to make sure myself and kids where good.
Again Lauren was truly amazing and made a dinner night out with the kids very smooth and easy.

Only a short drive away from bww but much better wings in my opinion. Not the hottest that exist but fantastic flavor good atmosphere near the bar. The staff are chill, no issues.

Tables on average have 4 seats as well as having a bar. Lots of TV coverage for sport events.

I took my wife, daughters and grandchildren there for Mother’s Day Dinner at the last minute. They took very good care of us and accommodated is for 10 including the grandchildren in a nice spot with TV’s and crayons for the kids. Drinks, appetizers and food was brought over in a timely manner.

Excellent experience. I normally go to Sliders in different town but tried this location because I was close. Amazing staff and the food was perfect. I will be back.

Enjoyed our dinner. Chicken wings done perfectly! Not dry, very flavorful.
The only issue we had was there is 1 handicap parking space, it was open, we were able to park and the only space next to it is for pick up. So cars would be in and out quickly. We must use a van that has been converted with a side drop ramp to transport my father around. We were able to get inside and the patrons at the bar were very courteous to make sure my father could get wheeled past the bar area and into the dining room where the regular height tables were. I am wondering if management would be willing to put a few regular height tables in the front dining room. This way, guests that are in an adaptive or larger wheel chair can get in easily.
The wings were great. Maple bacon and Raspberry Heat were our favorites. Brianna was our server, and did a lovely job!
