My first experience having to plan a Memorial for my sibling. Carolyn Szymaszek, Bonnie and the team were most helpful 👌. I was able to select the prayer card and script with my sister's photo. They provided a custom sign in book. The video tribute was beautiful and so was the chapel and overflow room. I was able to use Bluetooth to play selections or gospel jazz. We were able to have our own program. The funeral home was clean and staff was helpful. Although I came prepared they were prepared to assist. I really appreciate that the community room is on the grounds next door and It was handicap ♿ accessible. With clean lavatory and kitchenette. They moved all floral sprays pictures and arrangements over for the Repass, so we were able to maintain the flow and stay within the same vicinity. My dad would have had to take several handi-cabs if the repass was at a different location. I didn't have to worry about anyone getting lost or needing directions. Although the New Britain Memorial Sagarino funeral home has two caterers they recommend for our convenience I was allowed to use my own caterer as long as I paid for th use of the venue and the caterer presented their food license. I never felt rushed only dutiful to my dynasty and grateful for th resource and service provided.

I could not reccomend our funeral director Christopher Cavagnuolo enough. He helped make a very difficult time alittle easier. From our 1st phone call he showed compassion and understanding what we as a family we going through. He insured that my mom was treated with the dignity and respect she deserved. While presenting our options for her services he never made us feel like he was trying to up sell. He helped make my moms funeral one that we could be proud of. He insured her cremated remains were there in time for her services. The assistance he provided with choosing of her urn, writting of her obituary, selecting her favorite flowers, decideing on her special prayer cards ,picking the perfect readings for church and the suggestions for the after funeral repass were exceptional and made that day uncomplicated and effortless. Thank you just doesn't seem adequate enough.

Services and handling of arrangements were done with high respect. Staff were professional and polite throughout. We were grateful to have a farewell for our mom. Thank you to the staff.

I would like to thank and recognize Bonnie Latronica for her outstanding and excellent service she provided to us. Our father passed away in Florida and she arranged for his transportation to a local funeral home until he could flown to Connecticut and later on brought to Canada. This was his final wishes to be laid to rest with his wife in their family plot. Bonnie personally drove him up to the border. She treated our dad with the utmost dignity and respect and helped us with this entire process along with customs. We are forever grateful for everything she did to ensure he made to his final resting place. I would highly recommend this funeral home to to anyone in need of services.

Chris was extremely compassionate in all the aspects my family is going through on this unexpected tragedy. I can't thank him and all staff for the beautiful job they did for my 23 year old son. I will forever be grateful and plan to use them always.

New Britain Funeral home did an amazing job at both of my parent's services. We used them 9 years ago, and once again this July 2023. Their provided excellent services and met all of our needs. They also added the extra touch on little things, like providing water bottles at the cemetery, and really taking care of the simplest details. Christopher Cavagnuolo is an amazing individual and loves what he does (it shows) he made us feel comfortable, he smiled and addressed all our concerns being that it was our first time going through this. He is trustworthy, organized, knowledgeable, accessible and also empathize with us, We couldn’t have picked a better place. What really stood out was Christopher Cavagnuolo was suppose to be off the day of the funeral and him showing up and doing everything he could meant the world to us. Everything was perfect and he made our budget work! He even contacted us the next day to ask if we needed anything and gave his condolences again. I visited two different funeral homes and none of them made us feel as important as they did, the staff was great. The funeral home was clean and very beautiful inside with lots of room. I would definitely recommend this funeral home.

New Britain Memorial and Donald Sagarino funeral home helped us go through one of the most difficult times in our lives. My mom was born in Italy and had lived here for most of her life. After her services here, we knew she would want to be laid to rest with my dad in Italy. We knew this would not be an easy task, but New Britain Memorial funeral home helped us achieve this goal. We were extremely lucky to have the pleasure of working with Aisllyn. From the very beginning, she was empathetic and extremely helpful. She always kept us informed and stayed in constant communication to let us know what was going on. Receiving a text from my brother this morning that my mom had safely landed in Italy and the funeral home there has started preparations for her services there has given me and my family a sense of relief. I would highly recommend them. They will go above and beyond to treat your loved ones with the upmost respect and see to it that all of you are wishes are met.

I want to recognize Aislinn and the entire staff for the help and support for my family while planning all the arrangements for my father this past weekend. He was taken far too soon from this world because of cancer. Aislinn made sure everything we wanted for him was accommodated, and that we were able to give him the final goodbye that he would have expected from us. Even when tensions grew within the family during the planning phase, Aislinn made sure to give us all the space we needed to work through everything. Thank you to everyone for giving my dad the service and respect that he deserved 💔

My father was a 38 year military man. New Britain Memorial / Sagarino funeral home was professional and empathetic . They offered a gorgeous casket and vault so fitting for our Dad. They made us proud and handled everything with such professionalism. I would highly recommend their services at your time of grief. They took care of all our needs and did everything we asked .

My experience was great. It was a very hard time for me since I lost my mother. Anthony made the process so easy and I was at ease every step of the way. They make you feel comfortable and help You with every last detail. They took very good care of everything but most importantly they took great care of my mom. Thank you all so much!

This week has been both hectic and heartbreaking and the amount of things that had to be taken care of and arranged seemed unending. The folks at the New Britain Memorial-Sagarino Funeral Home were a godsend. I am having trouble coming up with words to describe how much they helped us. The entire staff was awesome but I have to add that Barbara was especially helpful and she went above and beyond what could be expected. She took care of so many things we weren't even aware of needed doing. Thanks to Barbara, and the entire staff, both the wake and funeral went smoothly and our family was able to grieve without having to take care of every little thing. The staff at the New Britain Memorial Funeral Home were very professional as well as kind. They made this very difficult time much easier than it would have otherwise been and I'd like to especially thank Barbara. She was a godsend during this difficult time.

My sister passed in October. In Danbury Con. I live in Oklahoma. Atrium was great she explained all the different options of what could be done. She gave all the information to help me make the right decision. She found a policy that I new nothing about which helped pay for there services and get my sister home. I can’t say enough about the service I received from them.

My Family and I would all love to give our Best to all the staff and everyone involved in working with us on the arrangements for my Grandmother Helen (Domrad) Vieira Johnson. The staff know how to make it all special. Comfortable. And very organized and timely. They help you every step of the way. They take a lot of the burden for you. They go out of their way to make a time of sorrow very much less stressful. All of our Family, All of her Children, Grand Children, right down to her Friends could not say enough about the care we were given. THANK YOU ALL!

We spoke with Carolyn about a preplanned funeral. She was thorough , knowledgeable, and very kind. She took all the time needed to explain each and every detail to us.
