Kane's Market

As others have written, the strong suit of this market is the pre-made food. We picked up a few meals-to-go, and were not disappointed with the taste.

The deli sliced turkey is delicious Reminds me of Thanksgiving leftovers.

The staff is friendly.

I came here today to grab the hot dog special. The staff quickly greeted me and got to work prepping my meal. I walked around to check out the whole store, grabbed a soda to have with my lunch and waited. Everything was made to order and came out in a timely manner. The hot dogs were delicious. I sat on the picnic tables right near the bike path.

Best local grocery store in the area. Top quality meats and pre-made meals available. They custom made us Beef Wellington that was fantastic! Their deli sandwiches are a highlight!

Kanes is one of a kind, literally no place like Bob's. Always a fan of their meat selections and recipes. Their meatloaf, chicken patties, lamb chops, high quality milk selection are constant fav. I was late in ordering Thanksgiving dinner, but Bob and his team took us in and made us our awesome dinner! The best Thanksgiving turkey dinner we've had. Good place. Good people!

Attention to detail is amazing in the meat dept! They have an excellent variety of fresh and can get you anything. They just cut me 8 perfect veal cutlets and 6 one and a half inch lamb chops that r out of this world!

This small grocery is huge on flavor and specialties! The smoked pork chops were delicious and not overly salted. The house made bratwurst were among the best we've had in Connecticut. There's no doubt that will be among our "go to" places when we're in the mood for something different and delicious.

Really nice store! There is a great variety of everything. We tried store-made mac and cheese and it paired well with some spicy chicken. I also grabbed some dog treats which were a crowd favorite, (only 79 cents!).

This is a smaller grocery market really focused on their butchery and handmade eatery items. The quality has, so far, never failed to impress.
At the potential expense of OUR next Friday dinner (because supplies are limited) I have to tell you about the Friday Dinners.
Every Friday, while supplies last, they offer two entrees, sides and a dessert for carry out. The entrees, typically, are two options of beef, chicken and/or seafood.
Even with the "Big Chain" grocery store that just went up across the street we wouldn't even entertain getting our hand-cut meats anywhere else.

I seriously love Kane's. I would describe it as a specialty grocer with a large deli and butcher department, plus a unique cooler with different local ice creams. They have prepared foods, too. Things I can't find other places, I can find there. Its super easy to go in and get what I need and get out. Their beer selection is also quite nice. Everything you need for an aces BBQ is right here.

I love this place. They don't always have everything, but they're always my first stop when I'm doing grocery shopping, because what they have is better quality than anywhere else in town.

Kanes has the best butcher around. They are friendly and can accommodate almost any request. Their prime rib is amazing and they will special cut the meat just the way you want it.

Take out meals to go- stuffed shells, salad, garlic bread, dessert. Better than homemade, very fresh, my family throughly enjoyed it! Thank you Kane's Market!

Kane's has always been a great place for meat or quick pickup grocery items since Bob left Fitzgerald's and struck out in his own. But lately we've added "date night" to the list of Kane's specialties.

With Covid limiting dining out opportunities, we've substituted his Friday Feast for our restaurant date nights. Featuring different menu options each week and usually a selection of both a meat and fish entree, my wife & I are both happy.

These are not supermarket reheat meals - they're catering quality real dinners. Thick slices of prime rib or a half-dozen stuffed shrimp or a substantial piece of fish, accompanied by potatoes, vegetables and dessert; it's like going out but without the waiter.

Heartily reccommended for anyone looking to add to their dinner options and maybe step it up a notch without the restaurant risk.

Wonderful , easily accessible grocery store with gourmet and everyday products. Always pick up assorted fresh breads baked by Hartford Baking Co as well as the extraordinary Arethusa cheeses from Litchfield County. Great seafood and meats. Famous Junior's cheesecakes! Very friendly and helpful staff.

I needed ground lamb and couldn't find any in either Granby or Simsbury. I went in and they didn't have any out so I asked. They said they would grind some for me on the spot. Lots of other great stuff in the store as well including lots of prepared foods and sandwiches to order.

The deli here makes the best sandwiches within 100 miles! They are always stacked with meat and every topping you ask for on the sandwich. I have never been disappointed with any of the sandwiches I've ordered.

The premade food available in the refrigerated section has such a wide selection as well and everything is very tasty. Also they have ice cream available from multiple different local ice cream businesses and it's great being able to pick up my favorite ice cream from Tulmeadow at Kane's saving me the drive going across town to Tulmeadow farm.

There are so many other items in the store I have yet to try but judging by everything so far I know I won't be disappointed!

Large selection of items. Very good quality meat and super friendly owners and staff.

If you like bacon, get the double smoked bacon. It's amazing.

Great meats and very knowledgeable staff. Kanes has been a fixture in town for about 40 years. Gourmet products carefully chosen.

Very wide variety of things there. The meat looks wonderful as well as the many pre-made meals. Many bakery items and lots of meal starter packets.

Great catering services! They catered my husband's birthday party and everyone loved the food! Pulled pork, BBQ chicken, potato salad, coleslaw, salad, and pasta.
