I received a gift of a flower arrangement for my birthday that was ordered from DeVars-Phillips. It was absolutely beautiful! The flowers were lovely and fresh; the arrangement was graceful and carefully created. I could not be more delighted and highly recommend their services!

We chose to work with Bill for our wedding florals based on some beautiful and creative arrangements he had put together for us in the past. I met with him multiple times to review flower preferences, colors, and the overall vision for our wedding day. He was very helpful providing suggestions to meet what I was looking for at the best value. He worked to stay within my budget which I truly appreciated. In the end we were so pleased with the beautiful bouquets, boutonnieres, centerpieces and wedding arch that he and his team worked on. He was a pleasure to work with and we’re so glad we chose De Vars-Phillips for our wedding day florals.

Have always had excellent experiences here. Frequently purchased flowers for my husband when we went to vintage dance events. Loved having a local, walking distance florist. People always kind and pleasant. A teensy bit over my budget, but very nice work and staff. Always have enjoyed a positive experience. Thanks!

We used De Vars for our daughters wedding a year ago. The floral arrangements were gorgeous! We found the experience so easy. They took the stress out of wedding planning.We have another wedding next year and I can't imagine using anyone else!

I was pleasantly surprised to find a local florist with a website that offered online ordering. The site was simple to use and offered a plethora of beautiful arrangements at a variety of prices. I ordered on Friday and the flowers were delivered to my sister-in-law's hospital room on Saturday. She said they are beautiful. Thank you. Bridal shower with a theme of "Rooted in Love"; held in the Artisan Room at the Delamar Hotel in West Hartford. These flowers were stunning. All of the guests were amazed at the originality and creativity. Bill made sure he picked flowers and designs where the roots showed and he entwined all of the arrangements with copper wiring and mess to match the room's arched copper ceiling and chandeliers. One guest was a florist and she raved about this presentation. So if you want creativity and someone who will work with you on a special occasion you will not be disappointed.

This is such a small shop and yet they get the job done. They arrange the flowers for weddings, bridal parties, baby showers, banquets and more all while arranging their everyday orders and marketing in antiques. The job the owner does is fantastic and I wouldn't think of going to any other florist or even ordering with third party florist. If you are thinking of buying flowers for someone or even for yourself I suggest you call this florist first hand.

I have been a customer of De Vars-Phillips for many years. The owner is a very talented artist who creates a wide variety of arrangements for all occasions, and I, nor my family and friends, have ever been dissatisfied. If you are in the Hartford area, I highly recommend stopping by.
