Searching Serendipity gained a lifelong client yesterday.

It’s always nerve-wracking going to a new hairdresser for the first time. I obsessively read reviews before I do or buy anything, and this place checked out so I decided to give it a shot.

I came for a haircut, or more so a trim of my long hair. I’ve never felt so taken care of while having my hair done. Bobbi was so gentle, I even commented on how I’m used to being scratched by long nails, my hair pulled or even ripped while brushing, my head being tilted for so long my neck spasms - stuff like that.

Bobbi was SO thorough and caring. She paused multiple times, whether it was to make sure she hadn’t hurt me (I have stitches in the back of my head at the moment), ask my opinion/preference, check in that I was okay with what she was doing…I could tell I was going to be thrilled with the result, because she made sure of it every step of the way. Even the blow dry at the end was so pleasant and relaxing that I nearly fell asleep sitting up.

She seems like a good soul.

The shop in front is cool as heck, too. All sorts of little treasures and art and jewelry and spiritual items and awesome clothing. The girl at the counter (whose name escapes me) was as sweet as can be. Wash, cut, and dry - $45. How can you beat that?!

Just…truly an awesome experience. Above and beyond my expectations in every way, and I’m so happy to have found a place I can go to for years to come.

Searching Serendipity is one of favorite stores! The women who own it and work there are amazing and they have the cutest clothes, tapestries, crystals, candles , jewelry, and a hair and nail salon. The vibe is so cozy and welcoming. You must check it out.

Love love love this place! I have been going here for years and prefer this shop over others around the area. small business with tons of services, truly a hidden gem. The front of the store offers many goods including crystals, soy candles, incense sage, clothing and other metaphysical supplies!! Always a pleasure coming here and highly recommend. Almost forgot to mention the tapestries, by far the best variety and great quality for a really reasonable price

I've been to this salon a few times, and each time has been perfect. Very professional and over all an excellent customer experience. As a hairdresser coming in at random and asking for a haircut the cut was to perfection. This is 100% a salon you can trust and can definitely build a great client to customer bond. I could not be more appreciative of Bobbi's work!

Details is a wonderful salon boutique. Bobbi isan outstanding colorist. I always get tons of compliments about my hair color. Her cuts are also excellent. Angelina does my manicures and pedicures. I leave her chair feeling relaxed and invigorated at the same time. Karen is their massage therapist who is very knowledgeable and compassionate. I have very complicated issues with my back. Her work has made a huge difference in my quality of life. The boutique area is full of one of a kind items that you won't find anywhere else. They are made by local crafters or ate fair trade imports, including the clothing. Last, but not least is the Blue Lotus tea bar. Delicious! Above all, the staff is friendly and helpful. They treat everyone like dear friends. Give them a try. You will be glad you did!

At the salon and boutique you aren't a customer but family. Bobbi is an amazing stylist and a complete artist with color. I wouldn't trust my hair to anyone else. The mani & pedis are pure relaxation. I absolutely love the handmade scrubs and lotions. The "crack" cream can be used on dry heels, hands or lips. Sometimes I even use it as pomade. The boutique has helped furnish my home with beautiful and unique items. I purchased most of my jewelry from here and whenever I wear a piece of their clothing, I always get compliments. I cannot reccomend salon and boutique enough. I even have my mom hooked!

Super impressed, I wish I found this place sooner! They have a tea bar, salon and spa services and clothing, jewlery and everything in-between.

All of the staff are super friendly and helpful. They have a great great variety of items for sale and tons of great unique gifts ideas as well. Their salon is also amazing and has organic non harmful products which is super hard to find in a salon. The tea bar was really tasty and affordable prices 😊

Bobbi does a great job and she talks to you as a person, which is more than what many other hairdressers do. It is also easy to book an appointment. If they are full on a day you're looking for, they often give you a courtesy call with the next available opening.

I first went there several years ago as a walk in to get my hair done. Once Bobbie told me about their hair products and how they are so much better for my body in general, I knew I was coming back. My sister is now hooked as well! The new tea bar has the best tea! Love Bobbi and the crew!

I could've spent hours wandering around in this adorable shop! Every time I walked around I saw something I hadn't noticed the first time. This is a great place for unique gifts, and it's so cool that they have merchandise made by local artists! Also a tea bar and a salon! I'm not out in that part of the state very often, but I definitely plan on going more often! This is my new go to place when I'm shopping for presents now!

I love going to Searching Serendipity. Whether it is to get a wash and cut, looking for hand-made or fair trade gifts for loved ones, pampering myself with natural body care products, or to restock on incense or scented votive candles, I always leave the boutique with more positive energy than when I entered.

As soon as you walk in you see that this place is very interesting . Their is a salon + to the left and a boutique to the right. You can find so many different colorful items. Beautiful clothes and accessories. Handmade natural items. Some of the jewelry is one of a kind. All affordable!

This is really a cool place. Hair salon, nail salon, massage, tea bar, new age/hippie art, clothing, essential oils.....the list goes on. Did a good job on my nails but the atmosphere really added to it for me.

A fun store ......many one of a kind items..a buzy hair salon inside store. Bought a beautiful hand crafted bracelet with stones and what each one stands for by "Tailored Crystals"

Wonderful shop to get a new doo and find many new duds. Want incense or beauty products? They have them also. Terrific service, nice ambiance.

Wonderful energy and environment. Staff is fun and friendly. I didn’t have time to check out the boutique, but will definitely return!
