Old Well Tavern

This is a fun old feeling bar. The fanciest thing about the place is the digital juke box, and yes, it gets used. That being said, we loved this place. It was a Friday evening and the bar was full of folks who had just gotten off work.

We started with the sweet chili wings, and wow.. they were good. My honey had the chicken sandwich which was good. I felt like testing to see if the Diablo burger was really that hot… it was an amazing burger, enough warmth to make you sweat but not tongue scorching. If you like spice, get this!

I love the Old Well Tavern. It is a quintessential dive bar with reasonable service and tasty food. $5 for a domestic draft. Thursday night prime rib! Go here if you are looking for a locals spot to grab a beer and play a game of pool.

This restaurant really had the right combination of great food and great service and I highly recommend this place to anyone .

For starters my table got the steak tips and mozzarella sticks . The mozzarella sticks were so good I could’ve had the whole plate myself.

With my meal I ordered the French onion soup which was ok, a bit on the salty side if you’re watching your sodium.

For my Entree I had the fish and chips and it was SO Good the fish with perfectly cooked, the breading was crispy, the fries were hot , it was delicious

Our server really brought the whole experience together! I believe her name was Christie? she was wonderful,had my table laughing and was very attentive to us .

I had part of my high school reunion at The Old Well. Staff were friendly and service was great. They did alot to make sure the prepared BBQ was good food. There were big pans of BBQ chicken, pork, & beef, mac 'n cheese, rice, veggies, & salad.

Amazing food, great service, and HUGE space with pool tables! As soon as I walked in, I was transported to the good old times.. love that nothing was too salty, and everything was prepared with love, truly an authentic tavern!

Not from the area, but dropped in looking for some hot food on a cold day. The BBQ ribs hit the spot and the burnt ends made for a good app. Plenty of room to spread out a socially distance in the large dining area and pool tables to play if you're so inclined.

my husband and i found this place accidentally but it was most definitely a happy accident! the staff was very welcoming and kind and the food was AMAZING (along with their prices!!), we still talk about the food a month later!

Had my wife’s birthday party here. Absolutely perfect. The food was incredible and the waitress assigned was awesome and attentive. Could not have asked for more and made an important night special!

Every time I go the staff is super friendly. Food is very decently priced and it tastes great. Me and my family have tried a variety of items on the menu and have never been disappointed. Check them out if you're able to!

I started with the sampler platter and was surprised with probably the best buffalo wings I ever had. The chicken tenders, fries and mozzarella sticks were ok. The burnt ends were very good. The prime rib and garlic mashed potatoes were delicious, though the mixed veggies needed a seasoning of some sort. The chocolate mousse was delectable! The waitress was very pleasant and helpful and the place was very well kept and clean. I will definitely be returning!

Went for a celebration of life. They welcomed everyone very well. Food the served was excellent.

Been here a few times never been disappointed. This is a laid-back tavern. Jeans Sneakers Boots. Bring a friend and grab a pitcher of beer. Yes still serving the real size pitchers.

Ordered the garden salad with blackened chicken. Very fresh veggies and the best blackened chicken breast I’ve ever had! Spices were on point. Great beer taps!

This place is a great time! Went for a work function and the drinks, food, service, and pool tables were awesome! Wings and fried ravioli almost had me too full for the BBQ after but had to soldier on and extremely happy to have done so!!! Chicken, pork, beef all delicious! As were the sauces!!! If I ever find myself in the area again I definitely could see going back!

Fantastic employees, food, and atmosphere. Everything was reasonably priced and the food is delicious. Good selection on tap as well as a variety of cocktails available. If you enjoy playing pool, there are multiple tables that are only 50 cents, not a dollar like other places, per game. They also have darts. Family friendly and certainly recommended. Worth a visit.

Ordered delivery last night through CT Dine in app. Everything was excellent! My expectations are usually low when I get delivery due to the food needing to travel etc. This was the exact opposite of any delivery I've ever had. The food was still decent temperature and there was little to no loss in quality. Wife ordered steak salad cooked rare, amazingly the steak was rare!? Ordered cheeseburger slider, the burger was pink!? The wings are incredible(get the Gary sauce) and the BBQ was also smoked to perfection. Kudos to a restaurant that obviously cares about the food they make you. There is obviously someone who knows what they're doing at this establishment. Can't wait to order again!

I ordered the Barbecue Bonanza dinner for take out. The pulled pork, brisket, ribs, and chicken thighs were all flavorful and cooked and smoked to perfection. The cornbread and coleslaw were also extremely good. There are not many restaurants around here that offer proper pulled pork or brisket, but Old Well Tavern has done an excellent job with it. This was the first time I had food from here, but it will be nowhere near the last.
