Ken's Corner Breakfast & Lunch

Absolutely lovely breakfast joint! The location is easy to get to, there us a good variety of options and the staff is phenomenal! So kind and inviting! Food was excellent as well!

The folks here take food AND friendliness to another level! It feels like most of the patrons have just walked into “Cheers!”. My go tos are the amazing lobster omelet (with the planned spinach and Swiss). I get Hollandaise to top this off. Add in grilled veggies and extra crispy corned beef hash. Others have loved the biscuits and gravy (best ever had) and the “Benedicts@! Just food heaven!

This place is delicious! My husband and I came on a Sunday morning around 10am as we were passing through and we waited about 15 min before being seated which isn’t bad. They have great gluten free options, as I am gluten sensitive, and my husband really enjoyed their pancakes. It seems we came just in time, after we were seated the line started going out the door.

Excellent breakfast! Waitress was very nice, checked in a cple times. Food was fresh, hot, eggs nice and fluffy! Coffee was really good, they serve Omar coffee which is made in newington ct. Price was great too! 10 bucks for a quality breakfast!

This place never disappoints. Worth the wait. Lobster omelet with hollandaise sauce on the side was delicious. Belgium waffle thick crisp and rich tasting. Staff is friendly and very quick with service. The only thing I didn't know that they charge for refills on juice. But still no complaints just a note of reference.

Food was amazing and so many options. The only complaint is that is was so busy we had to stand stuffed by the bathroom. It was not a long wait though. Definitely worth it.

Phenomenal breakfast and lunch spot. The prices are incredibly reasonable, especially for lunch. The quality is high and everything is cooked just right. I would say if you come at peak times expect a wait, but they do turn over tables plenty fast so it shouldn't be too long.

Get there early. This place fills up quickly with regular locals on Saturday. Seems like everybody knows each other there. The reason they are so popular is the very good food, great service and lightning fast kitchen. The meat lovers omelette is prepared pillow style with a nice portion of meats and cheese and is very good. The 12 grain toast is good and the coffee is great. The server was friendly and prompt. She also did the follow-up on the entree and round 2 on coffee.

One of my favorite spots for a dam good breakfast! Food is always very very good. And the wait staff are very polite!

The Nutella and banana French toast is amazing. Everything was on point, the omelette, breakfast sausage, toast and the coffee. I can’t wait to return and the servers are great very friendly and attentive. A must try for breakfast or brunch.

Food was delicious, portions were big, and atmosphere was cozy and bright. The banana pancake was fluffy and huge, the omelet plates were big, and the home fries were perfect. Our server Marisela was super friendly, personable and attentive. I would definitely come back to try more on the menu!

My first time here and it was a great experience. The staff and customers were very friendly. The food was great and it came out pretty quickly. I would definitely come back again.

I have been going to Kens corner for quite some time. I attend at times with my family, brother, friends and Pastor.

The service by all even Ken is unmatched. He gives me a shout out when I arrive if he hears me. The wait staff top down leaves me feeling welcome and are available for me if I need something.

My water and coffee is always full. My favorite hot sauces arrive at my table Everytime. That's what is amazing about Kens. You feel like you are eating with family. Best of all like family they know me.. know I need my fav hot sauces. Know I like veggies on the side of my eggs not bread. If I do order bread it's gluten free.

The menu has so many options but waiiiiitttt. There are daily specials listed on the wall. Let me tell you the breakfast is amazing. I've never had a meal here that wasn't amazing.

This is a family friendly place. I bring my 3 kids and they love it. Always there #1 place to eat. For little ones they provide books to keep their minds occupied.

Food comes out fast and delicious.

You walk your bill to the check out. Much faster than waiting for the slip to come back for u to sign. Let me tell you not once not ever was I rushed out or felt as if I needed to leave.

Love this place. Just a little out of the way, and completely worth it, if you are visiting UConn or staying in Hartford. Amazing friendly service and a menu where you want to order everything, and don’t forget to look at the specials. There is usually a line to get in, no reservations and your entire party needs to be there, but it moves fast. You’ll forget you had a wait. Take the time to stop here is traveling or visiting, we have twice.

My husband says if when he went to heaven he could take a breakfast spot Ken’s Corner would be his only choice. Farm fresh ingredients, locally sourced. Owner and staff are the sweetest

This is a very cute spot and the food is always fresh and delicious. It is always SUPER busy! They appreciate cash and tips. So please be mindful when coming to restaurant. I love the mom and pop feel and would rather support a local business like this than a chain restaurant! Must try!
