Mulryan Funeral Home did a wonderful job throughout the entire process. Losing someone is very difficult and they took all measures to accommodate our family and to make sure everything went smoothly. It was a wonderful celebration of my dad’s life.

I can’t say enough about our positive experience with Mulryan Funeral Home. From entrusting them with the care of our father, to walking us through the whole process while helping us plan calling hours and a service, Rob was both compassionate and professional. He managed to ease our minds during during a heartbreaking time.

I truly can not express how wonderful Mulryan is. Not only are they empathetic to your loss they will go out of their way to be sure you are well taken care of. Thank you for your patience and support with my aunt’s service this morning and all the help you gave along the way. My family and I appreciate you more than words.

my family has used Mulryan funeral home a few times and the last time I personally was the one who had to meet Dan. at such a difficult time the caring and compassion was extremely welcomed and needed.and since taking care of my grandmother for me in nov.2017 I had a reason to get in touch 11 months later and the service was above what I could have asked for. thank you so much. They only Funeral Home to use in the Greater Hartford Area. All of my family and friends have always trusted the Mulryan family with handling our deceased ones. They are very caring and accommodating during a very sensitive time.

This place is nice ample parking very nice inside but the staff is not very empathetic towards the mourners. Very brut in the way they speak to people, especially the fat guy he was a jerk all together.

Our family used this funeral home in the last couple of weeks. We would like to share our story for others. My companion's daughter passed away unexpectedly. We met with the director and wanted to have a casket for just the mass. The home has a casket that they use for multiple rentals for the funeral. The fee to use the casket for an hour and a half was $1200 which we thought was exhobinant. The mother of the daughter is a single mom on a fixed income. The fees from this home were extremely high and I wrote to the owner Tom Mulryan to ask if he could consider a discount for the woman. He never returned an email, I wrote to him again telling him that I thought that it was discourteous to not even respond to a customer.
Then I received a rude email back from him stating that I was threatening him because I told him that I will never refer anyone to his business. He also threatened that if I said anything to anyone about his business he would forward my emails to the mother of the child. I never threatened this person and merely asked him if he could possibly give this single mother a discount for their services. there is nothing wrong with that. In return I received the following email from the owner.

"I didn't get back to you because I didn't think there
was any reason to. Just because in your mind you thinkÂ
we should give a discount that doesn't count. How much did
you contribute to the funeral. And don't ever threaten me. If I
Hear one thing from someone that you said about me or theÂ
funeral home I will forward all your emails to---------- " ( A real classy way to treat his customers that just lost a family member.)

Mind you we just buried her daughter a couple of weeks ago. We will never use this funeral home again and this is an example of the sensitivity and crudeness that you receive from no less the owner of the home. This person doesn't deserve anyone's business and I would not recommend that anyone go to their home. It seems like money is the main concern and not the compassion for his clients. All I did was merely ask him if he could give a single mom that lost her 32 year old daughter a discount on the package.
This person is insensitive, rude and completely inconsiderate to his customers and isn't professional. I understand now why many people that I know are choosing CT Crematory for $1250 and they have a mass. The don't want to deal with the funeral homes that are bilking people. We just lost a family member and this is the way that he reacted to us. I have never had an owner of any business, especially someone that deals with grief, loss etc. act so callous, and rude. He shows no class. We are still mourning and this is the treatment that we got. We do not recommend this funeral home.
Absolutely egregious! Any other funeral home would be better than this one. Please do yourself a favor and choose someone else for your services.
