This is simply the best place to go when you are looking for a carpet or any floor treatments. They have a wide range of all sorts of carpet. Their carpets are very nice, with contemporary designs/styles. They offer carpet installation services as well as kitchen and bathroom remodeling services. The customer service was impeccable, and their prices are competitive.

Yet another fine experience with Harris at Galaxy Carpet. They removed the old carpet in two rooms and a upstairs hallway..expertly installed new carpet in downstairs living room and vinyl flooring in upstairs bedroom and hall..work team was respectful of our house and cleaned up afterwards..kudos to all the folks at Galaxy .

We needed to get a house on the market fast and to do so, we needed a couple small carpeting jobs done quickly and affordably. Herny in Newington made this happen. He was friendly, courteous, professional, and efficient. He was a straight shooter and made no attempts to try to upsell.The job was planned within 24 hours and completed within days. We went with a cheaper carpet for affordability purposes but the selection at Galaxy was huge. I would use them again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend this place and Herny especially.

We chose Galaxy to do our master bath renovation because we had carpeting installed by them in the past and they did a great job. We are very happy we chose them to do the bathroom and feel that they did an excellent job with the renovation. The scope of the project was replacing the floor, vanity and shower, as well as a new ceiling, some electrical work, and exhaust fan installation. We are very happy with the result! The work crews were pleasant and friendly, and Omar did a great job communicating with us and was always available to answer our questions or address our concerns. I would highly recommend Galaxy!

Absolutely love this place. I get all our carpets here. They have the best selection, including very reasonably priced remnants, that they bind for a nominal charge. The staff are so friendly and helpful, and always go out of their way to help in any way (including when I don’t even know exactly what I’m looking for!) Jose is wonderful and my go to guy whenever I stop in. I am a customer for life!

Great experience overall! My husband and I had wonderful customer service in store with a very easy process. Our sales rep was not pushy at all and gave us plenty of time on our own to discuss and browse. Our install was today and again very polite, quick, and easy. Love our stair runner!

Wow! What a seamless and easy experience this whole process was. We had our whole basement and stairs recarpetted. The pricing is competitive, and the quality of work is worth every dollar and more. I called on Friday, scheduled my install for Monday. The whole thing happened while my husband and I were out for work. We came home to a new basement with clean edges and taught everything. We’re so happy with this place.

The cost was much cheaper than empire carpet, Home Depot or lowes. And the selection of rugs is more versatile. We also had a same day free estimate when we initially called.

Eric was very professional ..,,and schedule an appointment was very easy , they gave a reasonable arrival time, they called before arriving, and once they were here, they did a great job on our carpet installed....The team they send to my house to install the carpet were thorough and clearly took the job efficiently ... they are very hard working guys. I will definitely be using them again next time we need a new carpet installed

This is the second time I have purchased from Galaxy and both times they have gone way over and beyond. Their installations are clean and precise, their reps are amazing (shout out to Herny!), and they are so professional and helpful. They have really helped me in a pinch two times now and I will continue to come back.

Eric is the best. He's consulted on a two bedroom carpet project for us in November. Galaxy was able to complete this project within 24 hours of consultation, and the second project was flexible with our schedules. We just finished our second project, a three bedrooms in our new house. Eric was transparent and consultative about color, carpet type, and timing of installation. The installer did a fantastic job and did three large rooms (second project) in 6 hours.

Unlike the big box stores, Galaxy's installers are in house and can get the job done quickly.

I highly recommend this business. Omar and Jose were friendly and professional when it came to choosing new carpets. I was impressed with the quick service and customer service.

Went to look for a new stair runner carpet. No pressure sales. I was helped immediately both times I went in. I was shown what I was looking for and then left alone to think! Second time I got all my questions answered and they were even able to order the carpet I wanted in a longer size. I was so glad I asked! Ordered carpet on a Wednesday and I stalled midday by Friday! The guys that came out worked so fast and it looked so good! So glad we went to Galaxy! Dog approved!

My wife and I recently finished our basement and Galaxy was recommended by our contractor. We stopped in and met Omar, he was awesome! Had us in and out in less than 15 minutes! Carpet was selected and priced out the next day with measurements from our contractor. I shopped the pricing and couldn’t come close so 3 days later we scheduled the install. When my wife and I got home and saw the quality of work, especially the skill it took to do the stairs with the spindles already installed, we were absolutely blown away! Amazing work. Don’t waste your time with bs carpet companies or even Home Depot or Loews....go talk to Omar and he will take care of you!

Galaxy came to the rescue! Tree fell through the roof of my summer home causing tremendous damage. Needed to replace all the carpets. They were able to come up with the exact carpets I was looking for and installed it perfectly, on time and within my schedule needs.

Galaxy Carpet has a huge selection of different size rugs. We looked and looked finally in the last section we found exactly what we were looking for. We brought it home and it looked awesome in the room. We liked the 3 day return policy or call to see if they could get more abstract bold colors.

I cannot say enough about the great experience we had at Galaxy. Jose was a huge help and very patient as a touched everything! We selected a few remnants of amazing quality. One was a beautiful wool and we had them all bound! From start to finish it took 3 days!!! Amazing!!
They are starting to do renovations and we will certainly go back when we are ready to do our bathroom!!

Charlie made this whole process so easy - great customer service! And he was on top of my order from day one! The gentleman who installed the carpet couldn't have been nicer. The rug is beautiful!! I went to the store and picked out what I thought was the right carpet. On the morning of the installation, staff called me from store to inform me that my choice was not good for the job. I asked him to choose one for me, he gladly sent me some pics and suggestions. Words cannot express my gratitude for such act of kindness. I choose one, the installer came out that morning and did a beautiful job installing the carpenter on my stairs.

We got the keys to our new home Friday at 3pm and by Saturday afternoon Galaxy had our new carpet installed upstairs! We were very last minute but Eric came to meet us to measure ASAP and reassured us the job could be done next day. We are so happy with the service and our new carpet!!
