My wife and I have now visited twice for two different reasons, and the experience has been exceptional each time with Ron! The first time was an emergency as we had a spare tire on and needed a new one ASAP; of course, it was on a Sunday, too! We dropped it off, took our cat to the emergency vet and headed back to Monro a few minutes before closing. He was understanding and compassionate, making the day so much easier. We recently needed breaks, and after a poor experience at another shop, we decided to go here. It came in under budget too! Ron is a pleasure to work with. He is accommodating, friendly, and they do a great job here. Ron never tries to pressure me with unnecessary work like so many shops do. He informed me that I needed rear brakes while installing a couple tires, and I said let’s do the pads but not the rotors because I’m not going to have this car on the road much longer. His response was “No problem”, and he gave me a very fair price to do the pads. I’m very pleased with my interactions with Ron and his crew.

Arrived towards the end of day needing 4 tires a tie rod and alignment. The work was done with no thought of the lateness or the hour. I will continue to get my cars serviced at the Danbury location with confidence

My car battery died on Memorial Day, and Ron and crew were life savers! I called to find they were surprisingly open, and Ron checked to see if they had my battery in stock (luckily, it was)! Ron was thorough, honest, and had a great demeanor! They took care of me right away! Will def be back!

Very personable, prompt, & frank service. Manager was very involved in the physical aspects of the service & he was very honest, & direct when I asked him questions. He had a good sense of candor & humor… & really what more can you ask for? Good service, without any inkling of dubious sentiment or paranoia, & the ease of the location… & without the “6 to 8 hours for an oil change even with an appointment” type service we’ve all experience at a dealer &/or mechanic.

I have had great results with these guys in the past.

This time, the manager came out, looked at the car and said that it shouldn't be a starter, just that the battery was probably getting old. He tested it and showed me the results. He also made sure that it wasn't the alternator not charging it.

Less than an hour later I was done and ready to travel for the weekend away.

If I didn't trust them, I wouldn't go back. I have been back there several times and they've never tried to lead me astray. Give them a try.

Stopped at Munro (no appointment) to see if they could determine what was wrong with my daughter's 2010 Honda Civic. They took it in immediately and shortly thereafter discussed their findings with me and offered options. 2 hours later I had a new muffler, and a set of 4 tires. Great customer service...and quickly completed. A++++

The guys that have worked on our cars for years and have done a great job, Courteous, Friendly, Clean. Pleasure to work with. Ron is straight forward and gives you the offers of things you need and lets you make the decision. Big O is hands down A great mechanic and does a great job.

Good people. Affected like most of us are at this time. They retain the professionalism and courtesy that you would expect. The front end manager is personable and professional. It's refreshing in these times were going through. Essential businesses deserve our patronage. They even take care to wrap your steering wheel with a protective covering. I wouldn't hesitate to bring my business to this place again.

I was very happy with Monro Auto Service! I was hearing a terrible noise coming from my car, it turned out to be that I needed new rear brakes. Ron took me to my car and showed me what was wrong, I was able to get the problem fixed. I was taken in right away, and the work was done within 45 minutes. This is one of the best services I have ever received, and I will definitely be going back to this location in the future!

I have been a repeat customer for more than 20 years (5 cars new and used). As a family of commuters it is important that we get our cars serviced often without the runaround and add-on fixes and costs. The prices are comparable and it is less of a hassle than the dealerships, particularly when the warranties have ended. The service is fast and convenient and I can honestly say I have never been disappointed.

I went when my brakes started making a loud noise. The service manager took my car in right away and evaluated my problem within15 minutes. He said i needed my brakes re-done and i knew he was right as it had been a while.... He gave me a very competitive price and did the job along with fixing my leaky exaust pipe (for only $90 extra which was very fair).
All the work was done in a few hours and they did a great job!
I will definitely be using them to do any future work i need, very fair and super responsive & nice people..... Highly recommended .

My daughter's car was making a loud noise on a Saturday afternoon, so I called different places and when I spoke to Ron I knew this was the one. I brought it in and they did a whole check up of the car. They fixed a few problems by Monday afternoon and now the car runs like brand new. The didn't sugar coat anything which I prefer since I would rather know what I am dealing with. Everyone was knowledgeable in what they were doing not like other mechanics who I have dealt with tying to only get your money.
