Tipsy Tomato Bar and Pizzeria

I made a special request for Fried Pizza which being from South Jersey originally, we call them Panzerotti's and let me tell you...they didn't disappoint ! Loved them..Recommend to add to menu... I ate mine few hours after pick up and still delicious with reheating, and my son devoured his before I could take a pic)

Excellent Pizzeria & Bar in Derby. Super accessible right off RTE 15. We have been coming here for years. Dom is always an absolute pleasure and the food is delicious. Our favorite menu item is the Cheeseburger Pizza. It’s new haven style Apizza with a twist and you gotta try it !!! It’s best when it’s fresh out so we recommend dining in when expecting the best results.

We tried Tipsy Tomato for the first time a few months back at the recommendation of a friend. We moved to the area from a much more New Haven-style pizza area and found the local places lacking. Tipsy has become our go to. On top of the pizza being fantastic, the garlic knots are out of this world. I have to admit that I order close to once a week and while sometimes there is a long wait time given, I have never arrived and waited more than 5 - 10 minutes for my order to be ready. Prices are also quite affordable when compared with other locations in the immediate area.

Pizza is really good. Great garlic knots! The food really deserves five stars. Only complaint is kind of petty but warranted a picture and conversation, two people getting 2 apps, 2 dinners, 2 salads need more than two pieces of bread with their meal. This basket looks sad af and takes a 5 star rating to a 3.5 star rating.

I'm usually skeptical when I see an eatery in a shopping plaza, but my wife swears by their food. Walking in the decor stood out immediately. The bar section was very elegant, and the restaurant section had amazing artwork.
As a Chef, I'm usually picky when it comes to food - as anyone who follows me knows. My appetizer was the lasagna fritz. We also ordered a mozzarella pizza and Italian combo sub. I'm from New Haven so I try not to be too cynical. I was pleasantly surprised how well it came out. Now the best for last...
The Italian combo sub was hands down the best I've ever had. The roasted red peppers and balsamic add to the perfect match of meats and cheese elevated it beyond measure.
They're located off RT15, exit 58 on RT34. I will definitely return to try more items on the menu. I highly recommend to everyone to swing by and try them out for yourself.

We had been dying to come here and try the Baked Stuffed Shrimp and Cheeseburger pizzas, and we were honestly hesitant about how good they would be. Tipsy Tomato exceeded our expectations and these are two of our favorite speciality pizzas that we’ve tried! Their cheese pizza was great too. Love the tipsy calamari, I’ve never seen anything like it on a menu before and thought it was a great creation. The dining area was nice! Our server was a high school girl who could’ve been more attentive with refilling drinks, but another waiter took over halfway through our meal and was sure to fix that. Overall a really good experience and we look forward to coming back!

Had a dinner with family about six people, everyone was happy with their meal, but I especially loved the chicken Parmesan grinder with the vodka sauce, it was absolutely the best grinder I’ve ever had!! Highly recommend!

Amazing 👏 try the garlic knots! The pizza is my favorite in Connecticut and that does say a lot for New Haven style pizza! You won't be disappointed give it a try!

Great place, good selection of food, large portions! Cauliflower crust pizza was great!

As a jersey girl living in CT it’s impossible to find a decent chicken parm sub or decent Italian food. Until today!!! Best sub I’ve had in the 3 years I’ve been in CT, REAL cutlets, the best bread I’ve had on a sandwich. I was so pleasantly surprised we can’t wait to order here again

If I could give 10 stars I would. Tonight we got their Baked Stuffed Shrimp pizza and it is my favorite!!! Absolutely delicious like always, I highly recommend!!

I only took pizza pictures (it was fantastic) but the wings were some of the best I’ve ever had I, I think. The waitress suggested we try the spicy garlic flavor and they were outstanding. Crispy finish with tender, juicy inside. Perfect cook to them, great food here

Absolutely incredible each time I go. Never been disappointed and always finished my leftovers! Waitress was very friendly, kind, and always checked on us.

The pizza is awesome! The service is great..cant say enough about this place...
Me and my 13 year old are regulars.Our fav is the baked stuffed shrimp pizza ....one of the servers even knows what we get when we come including my rootbeer soda lol..ty ,ty ty

Amazing!!! First let me start with the antipasto, I was so hesitantat trying a peach vinaigrette dressing but Joe insisted and I am SO happy he did! It was not overly peachy tasting but made the vinaigrette sweet without taking anything away. The New Haven style pizza was delicious definitely does not skimp on great ingredients and clam strips were crisp and fresh! Finally, I MUST recommend the mango maddness martini, refreshing not overpowering was amazing...let me just say that I can not wait to go back to tell everyone more!!

This is my first time ordering from this restaurant. I frequently order takeout from the Asian restaurant in the same plaza but I decided to pick up a pizza for my kids. I wish I had ordered more than one because not only did they love it but my husband ate that instead of the Chinese food. We also ordered a side of garlic knots which were cooked perfectly. I usually refrain from ordering sides of bread because they usually end up being over cooked but these were perfect. In addition to the rolls, the side of sauce was also extremely tasty. Not only was the food delicious but the entire takeout experience was positive. The atmosphere was a scene of everyone enjoying themselves. I ordered on a Thursday and it's always a good sign when dining rooms are full. That means customers are satisfied. Also, the girl at the counter had excellent customer service skills. She was friendly and I also loved the open kitchen layout. I will definitely be returning. I drive by this plaza everyday and I'm so glad I decided to give this spot a try.

This place is pretty good. They make excellent New Haven style pizza with a good balance of toppings and good flavor. The atmosphere is nice too. The service was a bit slow.

I probably won't go back often only because I only occasionally eat pizza.

The manager Rob was so attentive and willing to help us with our pizza choices. Great lunch we will be back soon. New Haven Pizza in Derby!!!

Amazing pizza. I'm a picky NY girl and not typically in love with CT pizza. Got the sausage and Rabe and traditional with pepperoni. Both excellent. Crispy crust and delicious sauce
